I do this conglomeration of a few. It fits to the very tippy top of a little mason jar. My mom will skip the preserves and use the fruit yogurt. One small yogurt container makes two jars.
In each jar I layer: 1/2 cup (just a little shy) quick oats 1 tsp ground flax 1 tsp chia seeds 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp sugar dollop of preserves of any flavor 1/4 cup vanilla flavored greek yogurt 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp chopped nuts of whatever I have (the little bags of nut topping for ice cream are really good for this)
Cover and shake. Let sit at least 2 hrs, but I usually do overnight. They'll last for however your dairy is good for.
