I've never purchased anything at Talbots before but I've seen a few dresses I'm thinking of buying. I'm normally a size 2 or 4, but when I use their sizing charts not all of my measurements are matching up to a 2 or 4. Should I head to a store to try stuff on? There's one not too far from me. And are they running the same sale in store as online?
that's good to know krisim. thanks! maybe i am still a 2 or 4 at talbots. think i may swing by my local one if i have time this weekend just to make sure.
I would suggest stopping into a store and trying the dresses on. I'm normally a 2, and have big problems with getting Talbots dresses to fit correctly.
I stopped in the store and tried stuff on before placing an online order. My local Talbots had a lot on markdown but the prices were still double or even three times what the online prices were. Funny thing is my online order shipped from my local store.
While the stores do have a large sale area, the sale prices are WAY better online. Ditto pp who said 2x or 3x better. I'd try on in store and then order when I got home.
