I've been trying to get him to have a custom pair made just to see how they would work for him. He's got the most archless feet I have ever seen in my life. The only ones he's found that he can deal with are Bostonian, which I generally buy when they go on sale for around $85-100 pair. I've bought him Cole and Johnston&Murphy and they're just too small in the toe area so he sticks with the boxier old-guy ones.

He has 2 pairs of dress shoes they were each $350 ish, they have be made for his speshul feet...size 17 narrow. This doesn't include his casual shoes, and tennis shoes. He spends more than I do!
$100-$150ish. His work shoes are mostly Cole Haan (purchased on sale). He also has a pair of Geox loafers that were in that range, he wears those on casual days in the office or on the weekends.
Maybe around $150-$200. He maybe buys 1 or 2 pairs a year. He doesn't have to we're them much. He does pend a lot collectively on other shoes (mainly his sneaker addiction) though
