I am committing to meal planning better in attempt to save money and make our post work evenings easier. I'm trying to figure out a good system for organizing and letting the family know what we will eat each night. I don't want a sign on the fridge but do want something physical that Dh can look at and know what's up. Anyone have suggestions on what may work for them.

I make a shopping list with 2 columns - one has Mon-Sun with each meal idea (I heavily use leftovers for the next day's meal, but still, it's the plan), and I run a grocery list in the second column. I cross out the items we buy in column 2 at the grocery.
That becomes my list for the week. I keep it out. It's not pretty, but it works quite nicely. I don't re-write anything and it's an easy reference for our meal plan.

I "made" a dry erase board my framing fabric in a big frame and writing on the glass. I scribble my meal plan there but I don't think my husband even knows that. I'll just forget what I planned and bought.
I want both of us to know so that one can get things ready if the other works late (which is often the case). We both like to cook so we both want to plan together. I'm guessing we want something physical to look at.

Thanks. This is a great suggestion. I didn't realize it would be a laughable question to so many people. I just want to be more organized!

I just started using pepper plate recently, and really like it. I plan and shop, DH cooks most nights so this works for us. We both have the app, he can access the recipes right from it
we share a calendar on our phones. i put the meals on the days we plan to eat them (though, that's easy to change) and put a link to the recipe in the notes. H does most of the cooking, so he can pull it all up on his iPad and start prepping/cooking before i get home.
