We went wine tasting. The tastings were free but then H felt bad and had to buy bottles at all the places. So now we have a lot of extra wine (we already have 75+ bottles at home). However the weekend was still a lot cheaper than most travel weekends since we just drove and didn't really do any fancy meals.
I don't even want to total it. Purchased furniture for our new townhouse and supplies to make it liveable plus hotel and eating out all weekend. Probably close to $5k.
Since I was on my own, pretty good. I think DH spent about $50 total all weekend- he was at a family funeral and stayed with a friend. Since my birthday is tomorrow, I tried really hard to go clothes shopping (which I hardly ever do). I spent a total of $235. $105 is going back.
So $180. Probably one of the cheapest weekends we've had.

Hmm--we had some good fortune to make it cheaper.
I went to the LLL store opening Friday (I actually dragged dh there) and made it 5 min before I was overwhelmed with the crowd madness. I even had a saved $50 bill from my birthday to turn into a running skirt (against every sensible mm non impulse shopping bone in my body)--so 0$ there.
Friday--$16 pizza from whole foods $15 tank tops at ON $15 AMAZING sports bra
Sat--$10 Lowe's, $35 groceries.
Sun--$10 watching the World Cup---except someone bought shots after every goal so it doesn't feel like a $10 afternoon out.

Ooo, happy birthday! What are you going to do to celebrate?!?!?

Sadly, a whole lotta nothing since DH had to leave town. Living in a new town = no friends close by to hang out on a Monday. But DH promised we would "recreate" my birthday next weekend. Champagne brunch, and not sure what else.....

I was sick most of the weekend, but still took care of a few things
Friday: $10 for house wash and $150 for fridge repair parts - both for rental house.
Sat: $48 at Home Depot. Supplies for painting the bedroom and a few clearance plants (perennials).
Sun: zero! Although we did damaged the ikea particle board bed. And they don't sell that model anymore (we have two twin storage frames - so in theory we only need to replace one). So we spent nothing, but we created a problem to spend money on. *sigh*
$100 for new fishing licenses for H and myself. $78 gas for both of our cars. $30 for rash guards and swimshorts for the girls b/c we forgot theirs at home. $210 groceries (stock up on meat so it was more $$ than usual). $70 for a new pressure washer. It would have been $80 to rent one for a day and we found one on sale that worked great.
Groceries: $145, included snacks lunch for the beach Gas - $108 Best Buy - $500 on a PS4 and a game but I had a $65 credit so a little less than $500 Snacks (DH is addicted to the gas station junk) - $26 Lowes - $7 Fast food - $1.30 TJ Max - $17
Well we extended our weekend to Wednesday. We finally got things mostly unpacked and are finally settling in so we spent the weekend shopping for things for the house. It's been expensive.
$700 BBB - roomba since my mom took our old one. $100 BBB - water filter, floor mats, shower caddy, etc. $110 home depot - screws, shelving racks, dremmel for dog nails because I somehow misplaced our old one. $80 Wal-Mart groceries $75 liquor and wine $70 lunch at McCormick and Schmidt
I'm not sure what else. Tomorrow we're driving my car from NC so that's going to be about $100 in gas. I wanted to tow it but it was just too much trouble. Wednesday will hopefully be a lazy day. Oh and H bought a new car. So we might take the two cars out for a joy ride.
6.5 days off...I love my job but I don't know if I want to go back now lol.
