Went to body flow this morning Probably yoga tomorrow evening Cardio/boot camp class wed Flying to Chicago Thursday so no workouts then and probably over the weekend!
My goal is to just walk a lot this week. Hit at least 15K on the pedometer every day. I figured out last night that I could do just a 30 min walk on the treadmill, cover 2 miles, and not feel like my day is dragging or have those constant "I hate the gym" feelings while languishing on the machines. If I pop into the gym and do this a few times a day for 30 minute sessions, it might mentally be better for me than putting aside an entire 1.5 hours to go to the gym.
I would like to start some YouTube classes but haven't found a groove yet to do those.
Tomorrow I will start focusing on low-carbs for the diet side of things.
M - ran 2.5 T - piyo W - Zumba T - run 5 miles F - barre S - there's a 5k downtown. DH is a competitive runner that hasn't raced really in years and I would LOVE to get into racing with him but this one is more of a fun run so he would hate it. Lol. We'll see.
I'm sitting here cursing my friend Jessica Smith. I love her and do a lot of her workouts with great result but I don't feel like I'm always going to die either.
Until today. I was feeling exhausted due to too much work and not enough sleep. I saw her "barre" video and though "20 minutes. We'll call it done. Can't be that hard."
Turns out it was and I'm still shaking. With five pound weights.
We'll be doing that one again.
Yesterday: 4.5 mile walk with the kids in stroller Today: See above but some random 20 minute cardio workout Tuesday: half hour run and pool with the kids Wednesday: some Youtube abs video Thursday: Walk with the kids Friday: Some You Tube strength. Saturday: Walk or some light stretch routine
Different Week. Different Youtube video. Same concept. It's been working well for me though! H even commented on how toned I've been in the last few months (The scale isn't moving much but I'm trying to be happy with it. It is what it is). He's either right or wants sex. I'll take either at this point.
My goals are 2 strength/gym classes, Summer track series (1500 and relays), and to run more than last week. I really need to eat better too. Once the birthday leftovers are finished, that is. Like I'd let a Carvel cake go to waste.

I always grab 3 lb weights the first time through a class! I've been burned and you know, I kinda need to be able to lift a kid or two later on in the day lol.

I gained three pounds easily over the weekend AND I still worked out. That just shows how many calories I was packing away. And I am seeing my high school friends this weekend where I will eat even more. Oh well... Anyway, Sunday was barre and three mile run Today was barre Tomorrow is barre and four mile run Thursday through Monday, vacation so just walks and maybe one run

Haha. For me it's so much a matter of what I'm used to. I drag me kids around and throw 50lb. feed bags like nothing. But a stupid YouTube ballet video is what does me in?
I'm not as strong as I think I am in some areas. Obviously.
S- ran 3.5 miles M- ran 2.5 miles T- weights W- bootcamp T- usually off swim lessons exhaust me F- off S- bootcamp
Now that I don't have a gyM I reallY need to get stricter at home. Even though I don't look it I gain tons of weight while pregnant and would love to slow that process down
Today- Core class (new routine so I definitely feel it already) tues- Body pump - I think it's a new routine too so I should be miserable. Wed- probably will be sore from body pump. Need to run errands over lunch. Thurs- Body pump Fri- probably sore from body pump Sat- gym? Chasing a toddler around for sure. Maybe pool or splash pad depending on weather. Sunday- chasing around a toddler and house chores.
Sunday: Ran...I didn't track. Maybe 4 miles? It was flipping hot and humid and I'm super proud of myself for going outside, lol. Oh and I did some crunches. This is huge for me (I am the laziest runner ever)! Also walked the dog twice. Monday: Ran 4 miles on the treadmill in the sweet, beautiful air conditioning at the gym. Nearly died of boredom. I did 9 minute miles, so I'm pretty happy. Also walked the dog twice. Tuesday: Probably another treadmill run. Dog walking. Always with the crazy dog. Wednesday: Maybe I'll do more crunches. Thursday: Run. Treadmill. Zzzzzz. Friday: Maybe just walk the dog. Saturday: Hiking in the mountains where it is not an evil furnace of Arizona heat? Hopefully something outdoors.
