Yes, greencrayon. You were one of the ones I was thinking of. Glad she had a good day! There was someone else who's LO was "kicked out" of daycare because her nap schedule didn't work with the other kids or something crazy like that. Anyone remember who that was?
That's me! DD is doing great at her new daycare. We are really happy with it and she is too. Funnily enough, she did drop her evening nap (not the one that was an issue) about a week after we switched, but is still pretty firm on the morning nap. We definitely are glad we stuck with our guns and didn't back down.

Nothing is really exciting with me, but I'll post anyway.
Still on the job hunt, with some decent prospects. I am meeting with a freelance career counselor next week, which I am excited about. I have gotten a lot done around the house and have lost 2 lbs.
I have an early Spring 2013 baby, and I fortunately remain pleased with my OAD track. I am getting excited to never have a toddler again! DS is a roller coaster of emotions some days.
I am inspired by @little_Moxie 's potty training success and may start that in a month or so. We have season passes to a kids' amusement park, and I don't want to try many day trips there with a newly potty trained boy. So we will hold off until Fall.
An update from this morning (lol) - DS went a day without accidents at daycare! He of course had one at home like 10 minutes before it was time for bed, but oh well. I forget to send extra underwear, so it really worked out.
I'm boring and have nothing else to share. The earliest we will TTC (if we decide to go for it) is January 2016. No plans to move any time soon. Blah blah.
Oh yeah - we have to start on preschool applications. We are only applying to 3 or 4, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Our worse case scenario is that he stays at our daycare, which is cheap and convenient and does a great job, so there's really no downside.
You give me hope. I was going to ask. That is great.

Are you still applying to the school closer to me?
I need a roll call on the spring/summer 2013 parents. Who is pregnant again? Who is ttc?
July 2013 here. Not pregnant and no plans to TTC anytime soon. The soonest we'd start trying is about a year from now, but I think we've settled on waiting until 2017/when Leo is 4 (or close to it).

@this it's amazing so far, aside from the commute. Everyone is helpful, tons of room to move up and earn more, 12 weeks paid maternity (thought you'd like that tidbit), and stuff I can see myself enjoying doing for a long time. Most of the people I work with have been there 15+ years. That's really encouraging to see too.
I'm sure no one cares, but I did go on the full week of vacation. DD did just fine, and my mom did too. Unfortunately my dad had to leave town for a few days while he dad had surgery so my mom was on her own for a while, which I know is exhausting. But everyone survived and I came back really refreshed and with more patience to handle the tantrums that have been never ending since then.
I don't think DD is ready to go down to one nap yet. She shifted her morning nap later. She used to nap 1.5 hrs after waking and now it is 3 so we are making progress, I guess. She still goes down for both naps easily so we'll keep doing that for now.
This isn't an update but I'll AW anyways. DD said Mama last week!! She only has a few words still but hopefully she'll get a few new ones soon.
@awinter - Yay for sleep! We've also achieved somewhat regular STTN within the past few weeks around here, and it's pretty awesome. Of course it will probably go to hell this week since they're back in our room while my in-laws visit though (nursery doubles as a guest room)!
