1) when did you get back into your prepregnancy clothes, if ever? I'm getting close, but all my tops are still too tight across my belly. I'm sick of wearing maternity clothes but don't really want to buy larger clothes if I can avoid it. It took a couple of months
2) did you have to resize your rings? Still can't wear mine and it makes me sad. No, I thought I was going to have to because even when I lost weight, my rings didn't fit. My knuckles were just bigger. It took probably 3 months to be able to wear them again, and 6 months before they were completely back to normal
3) Breastmilk: if you keep it in the fridge for 2-3 days, can you still freeze it? Or should I just feed it to her? I forgot to freeze it same day.
I have so many more but can't remember them right now!
If you started with purees, when did you move on to bite sized pieces of table food? DS has been on solids for a couple of months, but still seems to gag on thicker purees.
C has been eating solids (purees) for 1 1/2 months now. Just offered small pieces of banana last night and he ate it pretty well...gagged a little but nothing too bad. I had to feed it to him...I placed it on the tray but he kept leaning forward as if to try to grab it with his mouth instead of using his hands, which is weird because he picks up EVERYTHING and it goes straight to his mouth
noodleoo- Ditto osulori. I have been down to pre-pg weight for months now and am actually about 8 lbs less (only 2 lbs away from my wedding weight). Some of my clothes fit but most don't because my body is shaped so differently now. I have a GC and want to buy some new clothes...but it's also hard because I nurse and finding things compatible for nursing but still cute and inexpensive is hard. Also, you JUST had a baby...take it easy on yourself!
1. What was your 6-7 month sleeping schedule like? C's first nap is decent but the other two are really short. He's tired for his second nap though so I don't think he's ready to drop to two. Also, how long was awake time before bedtime?

2. When did your LO drop to 2 naps?
DD dropped to 2 naps at 8 months, maybe slightly before. Before that she wasn't really on a nap schedule, she mostly just fell asleep nursing or in the car or wherever.

Dropped to 2 naps at 8 months. It was also when we added lunch meal - they were just getting dinner until that point.
Schedule:
530 am - bottle, back to sleep
730/8 up for day, 830 bottle
10-1115 nap
1130 bottle
1230 purees
2 bottle
215 - 415 nap - they go down without fuss because they're so tired

DH commented that my tummy looked flatter today but I'm still wider around than PP, so nothing fits right -my chest is bigger still, so that makes some tops too short (I'm tall to begin with). I'll probably shrink in that department after nursing though.
I'm trying to get KU again, so I just can't justify buying clothes that fit me now. I keep hoping I'll get my body back after I'm done nursing and having kids (pipe dream.....I know). Sigh. I should purge the smallest things from my closet b/c I'm just never going to wear them again.
Buy some cheap transition clothes if you're really scraping the bottom of the barrel. I got a few cute dresses from Old Navy. This is a good time in your life for cheap/disposable clothes.

Thanks! C's rough schedule looks like:
6am- wakeup and nurse
7:15am- solids
8/8:15- nap...usually for 1-1.5 hrs
10am- nurse
11:30/12- nap...usually only 30-45 min
1:00- nurse
3:15/3:30- nap...up by 4p
4:00- nurse
5:00- solids
6:15- bath
6:30- nurse
7:00- bed and asleep
His pedi said I can offer a third meal (lunch) since he's not eating huge meals at either breakfast or dinner. I'm tempted because it just might help with that second nap. Sometimes having him awake for 3 hr before bedtime is torture (he's fussy) but putting him to bed any earlier doesn't help because he'll just wake up earlier. I know he needs to take a longer 2nd nap if we're ever going to drop to 2 naps.

I added lunch the same day we dropped the lunchtime nap. It was rough the first couple days getting them to stay awake that long but now it's fine. I kind of forced it on them because 3 naps were terrible. Hopefully he'll take a long snooze in the afternoon!

Thanks! I hope he takes a good nap...even if he does he will need his 3rd catnap (he went down just now and bedtime isn't for another 7 hrs). And, our neighbor has his stupid dirt bike going again...it will likely be a short nap
When did your child start sleeping with blankets and pillows? Are their toddler pillows? DS loves to lay his head on pillows on our couch and our bed.
blanket was added to the crib around 16 months, You could do earlier though (12m maybe). whenever they can really maneuver to free themselves if they get their face covered.
we use a travel pillow for ds. he uses it for naps but not for overnight sleep. i'd be fine with it overnight (he 19 months) but he doesn't like it at night for whatever reason.
1) What's the best/easiest way to take a toddler's temperature? DS was sick this weekend and sticking the digital in his arm takes WAAAAY too long (his screaming tantrum probably adds 1 degree to the reading).
2) Should I get a booster seat or something? DS will not sit in his high chair to eat. It's come to the point where he wants to be on our laps, in a real chair alone, or we just chase him down and put food in his mouth while he's playing. He's such a bad eater. HELP!
3) DS is 17 months - is this the time separation anxiety sets in again or mommy preference? IDK if it was his sickness but he was pretty clingy at times.
1. We still do underarm with a Vicks Speedread (it's 8 seconds, supposedly). I've turned it into a game for DD, emphasizing that we're making the thing go beep beep and now she seems to really enjoy the whole process (so much so that she requests to have her temperature taken for no reason sometimes).
2. No help here. DD (21 months) still uses her high chair. Her high chair actually converts to a booster and we tried that and it was a big fail (she was pretty cranky that week anyway though, so it could have been just a toddler mood week). We did use a portable booster during our recent vacation and she did fine though, so I might give it another go.
3. We went through a pretty rough patch of separation anxiety from 18-20 months. It wasn't so bad at first, but it got worse and worse and culminated at 20 months. We were also transitioned her to a new daycare at that time, which probably made it worse. She mostly preferred me, but it would swing and sometimes it was all about daddy for a day or two.

1. Most fit at 3 weeks, but I'm a fat kid so there was more give in the first place.
2. No. Mine fit okay after my hypertension resolved
Were 4 months shots similar to 2 months shots as far as your child's reaction? DD got sick after her 2 month shots, so I'm trying to prepare myself. Do you give tylenol before shots? We gave DD some a few hours after last time and she threw it up, so I don't know if trying it before would be better.
DS did a lot better. Which is interesting since he had more shots.
