I'm on week six and still don't have full feeling in my fingers on my right hand. No more pain at least. If your carpal tunnel lingered, did it ever resolve and if so when? Thanks.
Thanks for chiming in. FYI, I'm only 'liking' your posts cause you all said that it eventually resolved! Good to know that this isn't totally freakish and I should expect another surgery.
I've just recently noticed that my hands feel totally normal again (DS is 5 months). Mine was really painful during pregnancy (I've never had it before so I'm not sure if that's normal). It quit hurting almost immediately after he was born, but the numbness was there for months after.

Mine showed up after birth and it definitely took a few months. I wore the ugly wrist braces to sleep/type for at least a good month, then wore them only at night for probably another month.
De quervain's syndrome - had it but was able to control it by using a wrist brace at night when sleeping and getting a cortisone injection which had a numbing agent. After the injection, I felt as good as new but still used the brace for a while.
For the record I didn't have it at all with my second pregnancy. I only gained 10 less pounds and I don't know if there was a difference because boy pregnancy and girl. I was just thankful that I didn't have it the second time around.
