I'm on cycle day 1 and need to get an appt with my IF (infertility) doctor today. I called my home hospital but they don't have a provider there today so they called another hospital up the road. The nurse said that someone from that hospital will call me right back.
It's only been 30 minutes and I tend to be on the impatient side. How long do I wait until I call them back?
If you really need to get in today and there's only 4 or so hours before the place closes (I'm basing this on East coast time assumption) then I'd wait one hour and call back. Not an hour from now but an hour from when you first called.
Any reason you need to be seen today? I usually call on cycle day 1 but have come in on CDs2-4 for baseline appts in the past.

I ended up calling back an hour after I first called and left a message. They called back 10 minutes later.
My local hospital doesn't have appts on weekends and the hospital where I am being seen today is only 15 minutes from where I work but 35 minutes from home so going in today works out best.
