OMG, the "my son never cries" one is BS. TOTAL BS. Your kid NEVER cried? I mean I could give in to my kids every desire and he would still throw a tantrum occasionally. I had screams this morning because I dared to get up to help my kid get on the toilet when "HE DOESN'T NEED MY HELP!"
I love the one about "validating feelings!" My 4 year old cries and she doesn't even know why she's crying. How the F am I supposed to validate that when she doesn't even know what's wrong?
My kids also do not like being around me every minute of the day, muchless me wanting to be with them that much. I'm either a) A great parent raising awesome indpendent confident children b) something else.......we'll just stick with A.

I like the one that called baby-wearing lazy. Usually, strollers are seen as the lazier option (or at least, the less attachmenty one). Boo for body shaming a toddler. Are size six diapers really that big? I mean, they're not for kids who are 100 pounds or something.

No they are not. I'm in 4s now but when this box is gone, I think I'm going straight to 6s. We use them mostly overnight so I want them to hold a decent amount. Also I buy whatever's cheapest on Amazon (usually Pampers or LUVS) and I struggle with getting the tape part over DS thighs. The tape is like too thin in that area.
DS is not a fat kid at all. His thighs are definitely chunky but leans more tall and thin-ish. He's right on the average part of the chart.
I'm well on my way to being the worst mom ever!! Woohoo! My 8 month old if he keeps up his current growth pattern with def be in size 6 diapers before potty training... I've left him with a nanny and his daddy (once or twice I've left for an hour to attend yoga!?!) ... And I wear him in a "scarf" type thing! Oh... Also he cries... Imagine that.
#3 makes me rage. Has it never occurred to her that there are special needs children in the world? Or older children that undergo surgery or are injured that need to wear a diaper.
ETA my niece wore size 6 diapers from 12 months to 30 months when she PT. She was not "overweight." There is such a thing as body shape and build that affect how diapers fit.

I have slammed quite a few judgy moms about diapers. My 9 year old still wears them at night. She is fine with it. Her doctor is fine with it. Anyone who is not can suck it and change the sheets every night.
I love the mom whose kids don't cry. I wanna know what bag of lolly pops she gives them.

I wish they'd made bigger diapers when I was a kid. I wet the bed until I was like 9 or 10. It was exhausting and extremely disruptive to my sleep. Then I outgrew it and I'm a totally normal adult!
Thank you. She is an awesome kid, hardworking, persistent, and enjoyable. She will one day rock her big girl pants :-)
