My daughter is driving me insane

I wouldn't let DD go to the recycling bin and she stomped off, sat on the floor and fake cried. Then when we came near her she got up and moved to another spot and started fake crying again. I thought we had 10 years before the teen dramatics!

OMG the fake crying and the WHINING. She is such a brat these days. She won't listen and since she's had more screen time on vacation she flips when we say no more.

Tonight C freaked out because he didn't want Mickey Mouse bread, he wanted square bread.

We were driving in the car when this happened. Nowhere near any bread products whatsoever.

dd2's bff wears Luvs and she loses her mind when I go to put a target diap on her instead of a 'who who' one.  I'm not even sure what to say about that.

My DD is insane too. She is so defiant lately. And I'm annoyed with DH because he can never just help out. He's laying in bed right now while DD runs wild and I get the baby down. Every once in a while he throws out a half hearted "go get your jammies on".

I'm putting the baby down and getting wine. Screw them. Gah.

dh is the king of what I call 'horizontal parenting.'   thankfully he's never been brave enough to try it from bed.  i might attack.

Yesterday I brushed her hair or moved her blanket or something 'Ouch ouch' full on crying and then a second later she said 'look at this mommy' and I said 'what?! I thought you were hurt'. She started laughing hysterically

We are going to run out of Elmo diapers soon and it won't be pretty. FFS, Pampers, you know your demographic. Just make them all the same.

Ds is going through this too. He got a note home from school today saying he hit a kid with his spork and threw it at his teacher. So we had no fun things tonight. No tv, no fruit snacks, no juice, and (tried) for an early bedtime. When he was in the bath, I said "let's call daddy when we get out and tell him about your day". He tried to wrangle up some tears. Doesn't work on me kid. I know they are fake.

Then he got out of bed and said his penis hurts. Why? "Because I pulled on it"

DS threw a tantrum in the TOY STORE because he decided he wanted the $50 wood Hape bulldozer, not the $8 plastic one HE HAD ALREADY PICKED OUT. FFS dude, you're in the *toy store* and I'm buying you a toy!

Dh and I were thiiiiiiis close to leaving the house yesterday without Ds. He is bonkers and so roller coaster after this trip and move holy shit.
