Seeing them in this cage is killing me, just knowing how so very active and playful they are. I started crying as soon as I saw it. H and I are thinking of going back for the black one. Kittens get adopted quickly, so I know they won't be there long.
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
AHH. Giving them up must be so hard! Do you get them back for a while if they aren't adopted soon?
This was my first time fostering, but I don't think so. If they were sick or stressed, maybe. We're 75% positive we're going to get the tortie tomorrow.

GET HER! She's so darling!
(I've never fostered, so forgive the ignorant question, please.)

No worries. I have a cat that we raised from a kitten (she's 8 now) and still found myself asking the shelter many questions.
I fostered exactly once. I practically went insane when I had to give her back and was pretty much accosting my fellow adoption counsellors and shaking them down for information about her potential matches to make sure she went to the best place. Not cut out for it!
I'm guessing we have about two more weeks left with ours. We go back and forth about keeping one, although I told h I'd prefer to let the kittens up for adoption, and once kitten season if over, adopt an older cat. Kittens always get adopted.
I had to give up my foster puppies this week (weeks sooner than I expected). I may have cried. A lot. I want them back! This wasn't our first time fostering, but the others haven't made me feel nearly as bad. Those kittens are adorable, I'm sure they won't be in that cage long but I totally think you should keep one

This is where I'm at too. There are older cats there who have been there more than a year. They need a home more than the kittens because the kittens don't stay long.
