Amy Poehler and Lester Freeman are my spirit animals
I got H collar stays that say "I like you and I love you" on them for our anniversary awhile back.
Our next cat is going to be named Detective Lester Freamon.
I read this like you got him an actual collar. And I was trying to think of a polite way to ask if it was a collar to help keep him close to you on his leash in public places, or more like
Because you guys don't really seem like the type to me. But you never know.

Ohh I should include Saved by the Bell. I've seen every episode a million times. I think I subconsciously chose shows based on watching the entire series as well.
I think the best show of all time is Breaking Bad. I have a HUGE soft spot for The X-Files though. It's not a consistently great show but Mulder and Scully are two of my favorite TV characters, and I loved watching their relationship evolve.
So far I would say Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is my favorite comedy ever, but it's hard to give an all-time award after just one season. I have high hopes for it going forward though. 30 Rock was my favorite comedy before Kimmy.
Basically I have a giant boner for Vince Gilligan (who was also my favorite X-Files writer) and Tina Fey.
My favorite is the X files. I, too, loved the way they developed the Mulder/Scully dynamic. It was such an important part of the show, BUT, it never felt forced. When you watch most shows, you say, "ok... X and Y are going to get together in the end." With the way these two characters were written, I felt like it was organic. They inevitably developed a love because of what happened to them through the course of the show. It felt more "real" if that makes sense. It didn't feel like some writer was sitting back counting down the episodes until he felt it was ok to have them admit their feelings.
I also like that they never "messed" with the relationship. They each flirted with other people from time to time, but for the most part, it was the two of them working cases and sharing that symbiotic relationship. What irks me about most t.v. relationships is they seem too fickle. Booth and Bones for example... Booth is supposed to be head over heels in love with her, she says she can't be together, and he immediately is like, "Peace out. I have to move on."
As far as comedies, my two ultimate favorites are Roseanne and The Golden Girls. My favorite Golden Girls quote... Dorothy: My ex-husband and Superman had one thing in common: They were both faster than a speeding bullet.
Confession? I tried watching the first few episodes of Parks and Rec and Kimmy Schmidt and just couldn't get into them at all. Are they just slow to start? Or maybe they just aren't my style in general.
As a teen, Dawson's Creek. I don't watch much TV as an adult. The one show I really got sucked into the same way as Dawson's was Lost but of course the ending sucked so it's hard to say that is my favorite.
West Wing Friends Gilmore Girls And SATC on the shameful front
SATC used to be my favorite of all time. I watched reruns a few months ago and was like...um....no. I must be getting old because everyone on the show seems awful now.
Four pages and still only one person mentioned The Sopranos? Is this an XY thing? Did all the people who liked The Sopranos like Breaking Bad better? I know at least a few folks who called The Wire "the second greatest TV show of all time" after The Sopranos.
Four pages and still no Sopranos? Is this an XY thing? Did all the people who liked The Sopranos like Breaking Bad better? I know at least a few folks who called The Wire "the second greatest TV show of all time" after The Sopranos.
I've never seen it! And it's kind of like Lost for me where so many people hated the ending that I'm not sure I want to invest the time.

My list is made up of the shows I've actually purchased Season DVD for: Different World ER SATC Beverly Hills 90210- I'm sure it more nostalgia though at this point. FNL
I love the Sopranos but I wouldn't consider it an all time fave. For me that's a show I can watch anytime and I can't watch the Sopranos and feel better.
