I only go to the ATM for my bank. They charge $2 on top of whatever fee the ATM you're using charges. I don't know anyone who uses those random ATMs. Is this a FFFC? Or a UO?

That's why you only tap the mac at a wawa.
Seriously, each machine has a bank on it, if it's your bank, no fee. You just have to know what machines are your bank's. That said, I normally stop at the mac machine at my closest bank branch.

It could just be CA but I've never seen actual bank ATMs inside 7-11, gas stations etc. t They're always some like random company I've never heard of and it costs $3-$5 in fees to take out cash.

Yep that's what they are here, but my nearest bank is 30 minutes away. I should say the nearest bank.

Yea, gas stations have cash-o-matics (or some other generic atm) bank specific atms are at banks, grocery stores and other random places.
I always have at least $40. Of course we have banks all over the place though.
I also hate places that charge a fee for using debit/credit so I keep a little cash for those proposes. If going to an ATM regularly wasn't convenient though I would just pay the fees.
