I didn't like hope in a jar for my skin, but everyone is different . If you don't like it after a week or so, return it. For skin care items I like getting large samples first (sephora, Macy's, Nordstrom, etc will all make you as many samples as you want). I have sensitive skin and so much doesn't work for me.
Good luck! It is such a great feeling getting all new makeup

Dumb question - how do you get the samples? Do you just go up to the counter and ask what they have or do you go through a consultation?
Just tell them what you're looking for and say you want to try a sample first.
I hated Hope in a Jar, too. It just didn't do good things for my skin.

I am no help clearly, because 300 sounds reasonable lol.
I don't do hope in a jar, because it's way too harsh for my skin. I don't alter my skin routine ever.
What do you use for your skincare? You have such beautiful skin!
Thank you! I have dry skin, and am probe to redness. I use the sensitive brush on my clarisonic, and i use both the clarisonic sensitive skin cleanser, and cetaphil. Typically i use the clarisonic at night with their cleanser, and the cetaphil in the morning. I then moisturize with moisture surge from clinique.
I feel like the clarisonic has been a game changer in reducing redness and getting rid of dry patches.

I just ask for a sample of what I want to try. Sometimes I will ask for suggestions, but usually I am already researched. They would rather make you a 100 samples than damage out a bunch of product that didn't work.
