I always thought DH and I were pretty good about sharing everything thing, but I noticed that there are a few things we just can't share, like Ipods(he has horrible taste in music). What are some things that you don't share with your DH?
My ice cream. No seriously - I prefer cool flavoured ice creams like rocky road, peanut butter, etc, and he prefers plain old vanilla. So I buy two different kinds and don't share.
Also, my wine. I prefer red, he likes white, so I buy us separate bottles.
I also can't imagine sharing books in a million years; our tastes are vastly different.
Reese's PB eggs, lol. I have a few stashed from Easter and I will not let DH have them. They are mine and I am saving them for a bad day. He wouldn't want my books or wine. I wouldn't want his beer. Either of us would share those though.

We don't share electronic devices at all. We each have our own laptop, iPad, and phone. When he first got me the ipad, he thought we could share. He was wrong, lol.
We also can't share a blanket. He got tired of me burritoing myself up in it every night and got his own.

We can't share a computer because he's anal about how files are organized. And I can't share my toothbrush. A few years back I found out he had used my toothbrush for a couple days and I almost killed him. So gross!
A checking account. He knows how much is in his account to the penny and documents everything. I check my account online and have a general idea of what I have in there.

I am kind of anal about my stuff. I like it organized and in its spot. So we don't share anything I would have to go look for like a book I'm reading. Or gross things like a toothbrush.
my sister does with her boyfriend. I think it is gross.
Why? I mean if we were traveling or something I wouldn't care if he used it once if he forgot his, but on a regular basis? I could see cost being an issue with electronics but a toothbrush?

yeah, team gross.
A couple of months ago I walked into the bathroom as DH was brushing his teeth...WITH MY TOOTHBRUSH. Only he thought it was his. Apparently the whole "Hey, babe, I switched out the toothbrushes...yours is purple, mine is green" convo didn't register and we had both been using the green toothbrush. Gross.
Our master bath has his and hers toilets. Since we've had our own I'm not sure I could ever go back to sharing on a regular basis.
We have 4 bathrooms and H uses one and I use the master. The kids share the one down the hall. The 4th is on the main floor for guest. I can't stand using the same bathroom as H. He's gross.
The one thing I hated about our master bathroom was DH's side of the vanity was a pain in the ass to clean with all his beard trimmings. So for Father's Day I got him a new electric beard trimmer that catches all the trimmings.

Yeah, it isn't an every day thing. Like if they go somewhere and she forgets hers or he needs a new one, they will just share. Ick. I'd be more likely to make a midnight run than share.

Apparently, we can't share ice cream. We each picked out a pint of Ben and Jerry's and he already finished his and keeps eyeing mine. Um, you ate that pint yourself so why would I share mine?!

We have our own sinks but for three days last week I used his toothbrush because I left mine at my moms. The SOB went out and got a new toothbrush and gave me his old one. I laughed and was WTF all at the same time.
I hate driving his car. Like will avoid it at all costs.
One day I asked my DH for another head for my toothbrush, as mine really needed to be replaced. He brought me another. Two days later I was putting towels away in his bathroom, and his toothbrush was missing the head. Thanks babe.....

Now that's generosity...except, what's he been brushing his teeth with?

I'm amazed that y'all have so many separate bathroom situations. We basically have one bathroom that we all use, it's awesome, but I can't imagine it any other way. We do have another 3/4 bath, but it's not 'on the way' in the morning if you know what I mean.
Things I don't share...We are pretty particular about our coffee cups. Otherwise though? I wouldn't use his toothbrush. No way. Not a chance. I would, and I have, brush with my finger if I were without a toothbrush.

I am driving DH's car this week, and even though I drove this car for years, I hate it. It doesn't do any of the cool stuff my car does, and none of my shit is in the car. And DH is completely insane about emptying his car of stuff at the end of the day, so whatever spare diapers and wipes or random pair of kid Crocs I have left in there are not there when I need them.
