Has anyone come across a nice grey bedding set recently? I like more traditional/country style rather than anything modern. Meaning, no chevron print or giant circles...I'm looking for a floral or damask or even a subtle stripe, or something plain.
I don't have JCPenny or Target. I DO have Sears, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Overstock, Country Curtains..hmm That;s about it aside from local stores.
PB is a 9 hour drive from me. I'd be ordering online. I'd love if you can look at it - it's called "Dora". It's so expensive but I could buy it if I saved for a couple months. We've been married 7 years - the first 3 we had a duvet cover made of a cheap sheet sewn up, and for the last 4 we've had a $80 set from Costco that was white and is now all yellowed. I think it'd be ok to finally splurge one one nice piece for the bed if I get sheets/bedskirt/blankets at a bargain price.
If you can't get the duvet cover, why don't you get the shams or the accent pillow and layer it with something else? I think that will look nicer anyway.
And then here's a plain linen duvet cover that I think could match the pillows from that set you like. If you added some patterned sheet or the patterned quilt above, it would look great.

Sure thing. Other than color, is there anything else you want me to look at? I'll definitely check out the material and quality, but tell me if there's anything specific.
I bought a pale grey duvet cover from IKEA... two? years ago. It had a subtle striping by way of stitching running the length of the duvet. I liked it but it didn't have the ties on the ends to hold the interior blanket in place. SO frustrating. For that reason, I probably wouldn't recommend it unless it was on a not-oft used bed. Sorry I don't have a link
There aren't any Targets in my country Thanks for the suggestions girls I think for now I will keep looking; we're coming to the States this summer so I think I will hold off until I get a chance to go to a Target, Homegoods, etc. for the first time EVA!!!
