I have a white duvet from Pottery Barn and one from Overstock. I'd say PB is slightly better quality because it doesn't wrinkle nearly as much as the one from Overstock.
It's heavy in the right way, the quality is outstanding. I can launder it myself and it looks like new five years on. And it was unlike anything else I could find. Not all shabby chic bullshit.
We have white linen bedding from roughlinen.com and it was definitely a big splurge but I love it! I will never sleep on anything but linen now. I'd say it's an acquired taste though it can take a little time to break in the linen and get it nice and soft but once it is, it's amazing.
I got mine at Target. It's a knock off of the pin tucked West Elm duvet cover. We had the West Elm in a bluish color but cheapes out with the white in case it got stained. The Target version is thinner but totally passable.

I also bought the Target version of the WE knock off. It lasted a bit over a year on our bed before looking bad because I had to wash it a lot. (Dog, 3 kids) I didn't buy it again because I didn't feel like dealing with the white, but it's really pretty!
I love this picture I recently came across with a bedspread that looks like mine. I don't have the white headboard or great natural lighting right now, but I'm on the hunt for these pillows and some faux florals.

We have a white coverlette from Ralph Lauren that I got on sale for about $60. I love it, but H shrunk it in the wash. It will be sent to our guest bedroom soon (smaller bed in there). I will likely buy another RL, I am really happy with the quality. It washes well and looks brand new, despite multiple washings and having a cat with black fur that loves to sleep with us.

I wish I had gone with the target one. We bought the West elm and not even two years later it looks like shit. The pin tucks ripped super easily and it now has tears. I should have listened to pagas who told me that and I bought it anyway.
