I just got a text from him telling me he took Savannah in this morning for her kindergarten shots. He got all stressed out about his little girl when they got the syringe out.
He said she cried a little, but he was a worse mess than she was. He said he wasn't holding her hand--she was holding his.

It must be really cool to see your kids as parents.
It really is cool to see it.
To be honest, the teen years can be quite difficult at times. But if you keep your cool and realize they're still learning, once they hit their 20's and you've been able to maintain a semi-good relationship, it's a real pleasure to interact with them as adults--especially if they've become a parent. They can relate to you more. lol
