Short term: walk in a shoe and start running again (within the month!)
Long term: Lose 10-15 pounds, work on strength and speed in swimming, biking and running. I really want to win some age group races!
Sign up for a few races, not sure when, maybe November? Maybe hobble through a late summer triathlon? Not sure about the last, but could maybe swim as part of a relay!
ETA: Not running within the month, but short term, maybe September, October.
Short term: complete my first tri in 2 weeks! and rebuild my mileage after a break from running Medium term: rebuild my running speed, work hard on my bike fitness, and figure out how to swim faster Long term: ironman of course.
I'm working up the nerve to swim from alcatraz to SF and thinking about maybe stretching for a century ride in the Fall. I have no running races on my schedule at all until March next year...

short term: lose 10-20 lbs. Get back into running 3-5 days a week long term: complete a couple half-marathons. Maybe another marathon? Goal is to lose 30 lbs total
I am registered for a december and january 1/2 marathon. (I used to run half marathons a couple years ago a lot....just got out of it from crossfit)
- survive moving overseas at 33 weeks pregnant - have a healthy baby - start running again post baby
Long term:
- lose baby weight and get back in shape - work my way up to a marathon again. Maybe late 2016, early 2017 depending on how hard it is to get myself back in racing shape. - Dip my toes into swimming/cycling in hopes of trying a tri
Short term: keep some sort of fitness through biking and running for the next 6 weeks. After that build a solid base so I can go into "racing" (I use that term loosely) season fast and strong and healthy.
buffaloeggs.blogspot.com 2016 Races: Hop Hop Half Marathon 2:05:09 Pac Crest Half Ironman 7:13:40 9/10 Aluminum Man Oly Tri 11/27 Space Coast Half Marathon
Short term: get back to cycling and running. I am tantalizingly close, my new (awesome) PT has given me a benchmark for when I can try to go back on the bike and I feel like it could be in the next month or so.
Short: Stay in running shape for my next half in October. Try to enjoy that half because it's loops.
Long: Continue to run halfs and keep up CrossFit. Lose around 15-20lbs or more. No exact number. I'll know when I reach it. I'm overweight and it shows.
Short: stay healthy and manage extra stress at work over the next few weeks, finish my second sprint tri in 2 weeks, stay injury free until my fall half
Medium: marathon, trail races, build strength and incorporate speed and hill work into my running
Longer: ultra in 2017 and deciding whether it's on trails or a local road one that seems really awesome; do the cycle the Erie canal week when I get a better bike and more vacation time

Eh, nothing in particular. After this baby is born I just want to lose the weight and get back into a somewhat regular exercise routine.
I recently discovered a local half marathon offers a legit, judged racewalk division. I won't be ready for it this October, but I think I want to give it a shot next year for S&G's. It's been 15 years since I've done it competitively. (Yep, it's on joenali )

Short term: PR my triathlon this weekend Complete an Olympic triathlon sub-2:20 HM
Medium term (2016-17): Run a marathon sub-60 min 10K Metric century do one leg of a 70.3 relay (I don't really care which, though I would prefer the swim or bike)
Long term (2017 and beyond): Century ride A stand-alone OWS race An ultra? Maybe a 70.3 in several years

Short Term: - Run Boston - PR a half - PR a full...maybe Savannah. I'm going to see how my long runs go. I still might just do the half. I'd like to go sub-3:25
Medium Term: - Have a baby and stay active
Long Term: - Sub 3:20 full - Sub 1:35 half - I still think Boston2BigSur would be a fun challenge - International Marathon - Try a tri

Short term - Continue on my current motivation streak of healthy eating and exercising. Train for a 68 mile ride in September. Also, try to drop the pesky 5-10 pounds that just keep hanging on. Add back in a little bit of strength training.
Long term - Continue running, biking and pick up swimming. I wanted to do a tri in June and I bailed because of stupid life stuff. I want to do a sprint sometime in 2016. Eventually ride a century with DH.

This is so cool! My niece is a racewalker and is really good- I'd love it if our area had this so she could race with me. I think her racewalking pace is faster than my running, lol.

Lol, I think it's neat you even know what it is! Out of curiosity, what part of the country does she live in? I know it's popularity limited to specific regions. I'm going to guess Long Island, NY area?
