Short Term: - Run Boston - PR a half - PR a full...maybe Savannah. I'm going to see how my long runs go. I still might just do the half. I'd like to go sub-3:25
Medium Term: - Have a baby and stay active
Long Term: - Sub 3:20 full - Sub 1:35 half - I still think Boston2BigSur would be a fun challenge - International Marathon - Try a tri
It's a personal question that you can't ask, so I'm glad you brought it up. I'm nosey and have been wondering where you stood with that decision Yay, for a mini clseale!

LOL. Well, we've sort of had a case of the on again, off agains. We're all gung-HO one moment, and then we're all, "NOPE! Not this month." This is why it's placed as a mid-term goal. We're getting serious about getting serious.
This is so cool! My niece is a racewalker and is really good- I'd love it if our area had this so she could race with me. I think her racewalking pace is faster than my running, lol.
Lol, I think it's neat you even know what it is! Out of curiosity, what part of the country does she live in? I know it's popularity limited to specific regions. I'm going to guess Long Island, NY area?
Close- Rochester area. She does cross country as well, and when she showed up freshman year the coach said her running style looked like she'd be a natural at race walking. And voila- she rocks! Qualified for nationals this year but didn't go because of the $$. I am so proud of her- she tried to teach me the proper form and it is no joke. I can run faster than I can racewalk!

Excellent, so it's part of her school track program too. Lot's of nice opportunities to travel if she makes one of the national teams.

Short Term: Get under 150 lbs (I've been hovering at 150.5-152 for like 3 weeks now). Hopefully before real long runs start! Medium Term: Stay on track with training and kick butt at my half in October (Training starts in <2 weeks) Long Term: Buy a bike and do a triathlon
Short/mid-term - Keep up with Crossfit with a focus on building strength and form with lifts, work on dialing in nutrition/losing weight or inches, survive Space Coast half and hopefully race a couple of cyclocross races in late fall.
Long term - Potentially competing in powerlifting next year or beyond, depending on how I do with training.
Short term: make it through marathon training, track workouts once a week, and keep enjoying running. Crossfit 3x a week, gain overall strength and confidence with overhead lifts Medium term: Do a pull up. Long term: I'm struggling here. All my goals used to have to do with running, but I'm dialing back a bit. I need something else to chase after.

Short term: Lose enough that I'm not totally body conscious the entire time I'm in the South Pacific in September. Strengthen glutes and core PR at Space Coast Half in November (break 3 hours - don't laugh, I'm slow)
Long: Continue to enjoy running, get over race anxiety Run the races on my bucket list Continue to improve time and endurance Most of all, maintain fitness to keep from having issues with my back. I'd like to continue to avoid having epidural blocks!

Short Term: -Get motivated to swim again/get back in the pool regularly. -Figure out this weight gain issue. -Decide on next year's goal race
Mid-Term: -Lose the weight from this weight gain (gotta figure out WHY first) -Get back into yoga/become more flexible (I'd like to be able to do the full camel - which sounds SO dirty - instead of a modified one) -Swim Tahoe's width -Start cycling again
Long Term: -Do a full Tahoe crossing -Complete a race/swim in all 50 states -Finish an aquabike
Short-term: get back to a regular schedule. Im still struggling with consistency. I know it will all even out in a couple of months.
Mid-term (2016): sub 6 70.3, sub 4 marathon, PR all shorter distances
Long-term (2017): Ironman PR. I think I'll be pretty well set up to drop significant time ETA: and I want to run a 50k for my 31st birthday - so also 2017

Especially if you can avoid dog poo next time around!
So much dog poop. I'm avoiding literal shit and shit rental wheels in the future. B said I should sell my bikes and get a really nice TT with my own wheels. Uhhhh, ok honey!

Short term: Get some decent runs in (the humidity has been killing me), get back on the diet bandwagon and start strength training
Mid-term: Survive Falmouth and register for Baystate Half Marathon/PR at Baystate (I have the registration filled out at least once a week, but I can't pull the trigger)
Long term: Stay healthy/injury free; get faster; learn to destress
Mid-term: Survive Falmouth and register for Baystate Half Marathon/PR at Baystate (I have the registration filled out at least once a week, but I can't pull the trigger)
Do Baystate!!! Its my first full and lori19's first full. And I think melmel48 is doing the half marathon. A lot of people from my running club do it and rave about it.

Late to the party! But THIS!!!! Baystate was my friends first full and he said it's a great marathon! Plus we can do a meet up!
Really short term: get back to my normal maintenance level mileage
Short term: PR and try to win my November half, BQ in January
Long term: I actually have no idea. I'd like to see how fast I can get my marathon but I've been fixated on the BQ for so long I'm not really sure where to go next. Ultras don't really appeal to me right now, maybe if I move somewhere with more pleasant running scenery. Tris seem like the obvious. I might try to get a bike and do the MS150 while I'm in residency. This requires more thought.
Short term: stay (*relatively) healthy through MCM training and run a 2017 BQ there, a possible half PR in Charleston, Boston Mid term: a train-for-it half PR Long term: a sub 3:35 marathon, maybe a 70.3 (shhh!!!!! I have to like swimming first)
