I defrosted bone-in pork chops for dinner tonight, but DH is going to be home late. I will save him one, but does anyone have a super kid friendly way to cook pork chops? My kids can be pretty picky, so my typical mustard vinaigrette marinade probably won't fly with them. Ideas?
I use Shake n Bake extra crispy. It's basically just breading. It has you coat in egg, bread, put a little olive oil in pan and bake on 450 for 20 minutes. DS1 calls it orange pork chop and asks for it all of the time.
I"m super late to this but I have had a super hard time making pork chops that don't turn out leathery. The only way my kids have liked them lately was when I baked them or did them in the crock pot with a little milk and cream of WHATEVER soup. That way they turn out really tender. Google it.
