I was going to type BBQ but I didn't want to deal with the lecture.
Anyway, we're having about a dozen or so friends over on Saturday. 8 kids in tow. Super low key casual. Brats, burgers, hot dogs sort of thing. H was talking about making ribs, but I refuse to deal with that.
We're handling the mains. Other people are bringing fruit, beer, juice, and vegetarian burger/hot dogs.
I have tortilla chips, salsa, potato chips, onion dip, soda and wine on my list. Plus the obvious of various buns, pickles, tomato, onions, sliced cheese to make cheeseburgers. We have mustard, ketchup and a veggie tray already.

What else? Or is that probably enough food?
I was just coming in to commend you for using cookout instead of BBQ. Now I'm not so sure...

Considering BBQ - actual BBQ, not just grilled meat - is a pretty uniquely American food, I'm not exactly going to trust anyone from the Land of Spotted Dick on this terminology.

We import (considering I'm one of the US imports and I've always said BBQ) - and I'd say that Australians might argue about this...
