I've googled and need help. My company donates annually to a local pg su.pp.or.t cen.ter, but all of their literature is religious and I am worried it's a deceptive charity that guilts young women and provides biased abor.tion facts. There are a few reviews on their FB page that say the same, but the charity responds and says that it provides educational materials and helps with diapers, etc. All their info is about parenting classes, things to do with once a baby is born, etc.
They're not rated on charity navigator or guide star. I'm trying to find some black and white info that says they're pro-life so I can go to the giving committee at work and make it known that this shouldn't be a charity we support. Any ideas?

In my experience if they are handing out religious material and they are a pregnancy center they are also handing out incorrect info and misleading women.
Can you schedule an appointment with them to see what information they provide?
I would also look for a more acceptable charity to substitute. Like, social services has a crisis nursery here that always needs support, or the food bank is always short on formula and diapers. If your company wants to support babies in need, there are ways to do that.
But if they're actually digging this charity for it's pro-life stance, you're about to find that out.
I think it's a given that all of those pregnancy "support" centers are "lie about abortion" centers. As far as getting something in writing, contacting PP is a good idea. Are you sure your workplace would stop contributing if they knew this info, though?
I'm not sure if they would stop contributing but I guess I'll find out.
There are ways to support women who choose to continue an unplanned pregnancy- Cradles to Crayons, Girl Scout Baby Bundles, or via a hospital maternity clinic.
Is there any chance that it is not a legit registered non-profit? Is it a registered 501c?
At my last company, we were only allowed to direct funds to registered 501c's. I think it helped to weed out a lot of questionable entities.
I don't know where your company stands on the issue of abortion, but you could avoid talking about abortion and point out that there have been several charity scams in the news recently. Anyone can hang out a shingle and take money.

I was talking to a friend who has contacts at PP, so she's going to ask what they know. This charity is a 501(c)3. I'm about 97% sure they're a pro-life group. I found an article saying that a pro choice group glitter bombed them, LOL.

You should assume any "pregnancy center" is deceptive.
Find out what conditions are placed on receiving items (such as attendance of mass).
Look at the About, Mission, or Vision tab on the website. Look for buzzwords like life or sanctity. Look for anything that indicates abortion is harmful, unsafe, or undesirable. Look for what their "counseling" consists of and if they do shit like ultrasounds, find out who does it.
