I want a pair of Hunters but the ones I'm looking at are not in stock at my Nordstrom. I'm short, so I worry that they'll go to my knee or over and I won't be able to move around without looking like a robot. I measured and it looks like it could go either way.

Extra Petite did a comparison of the kids vs. the packable ones. She has lots of measurements on there that might be helpful. I don't own a pair, so I'm no help.

I am 5' and I got a kid size 5. I wear a women's 6.5 usually. They are pretty high on my calves. There is no way I could do the regular women's Hunters.

Ok, looks like I may need to just go find a store with the kids and the packable. The calf circumference is just slightly larger than my calf, so I'll have to try on with socks and/or jeans to see if it'd work at all
I'm 5'2" with size 9 feet (no kid sizes for me) and have no problems. They come a few inches below my knee. I do have a lot of space in the calf but that's the only issue.

This exactly except I'm a women's 5.5 and got a kids 4. :-)
