Hey, I hope a question from a rando poster from other boards is okay.
I've been using Urban Decay primer potion in Eden for years, after buying a few tubes at Nordstrom Rack, and then they lasted forever. I finally had to buy more, and it's different packaging, feels thin, and just doesn't last. I have super oily eyelids, so even UD didn't last all day, but this is crazy. By noon, my eyeshadow (Mac) is gone, and my eyeliner won't stay either. The primer is the only change.
Any advice? I just got some Sephora gift cards (holler, 5x Chase points at office supply stores), so I'd prefer something available there.

I should add that my Mac shadow is almost out too (it's just a powder one), so if you have recommendations there too, I'm game. Not opposed to drugstore brands either; I actually switched from MUFE eyeliner to Loreal, and before this primer issue, was quite pleased with the switch.

I love the Milani primer - I have oily eyelids and it lasts for the entire day and evening w/o any problems. I love my Kat Von D Tattoo liner - first one that has worked for me. And pretty much any powder works with my primer now. I've used cheap ones and expensive ones. (I love Makeup Revolution and Sleek for inexpensive shadows)

I love all these options! I feel like my routine keeps getting more expensive, so adding in these drugstore products always helps. It's annoying to spend $20+ and have the UD not work for me anymore.

Nars! I have very oily lids and I wear mostly MAC shadows. The tube lasts me a long time and I use it daily. It's the best I've tried and I tried a ton. Don't get too faced primer, it doesn't work at all on oily lids.
I second Nars. I was also using UD primer before trying Nars. WORLD of difference. My shadow stays put! I've been tempted to take a photo after I work out and am all sweaty b/c even then, I still have my eye shadow on.
I love Mac painted pot in a nude colour to match skin. It's fabulous, and my preferred way to prime. Before using that, my shadow would crease awfully, and/or melt off fast. Love that stuff.

I'm going to have to run to Mac! They have a standalone store close to our Sephora, so they don't sell it in Sephora, and I randomly got a $10 GC due to some kind of settlement. I hadn't heard about the painted pot thing.
