I haven't even read the article yet. I just wanted to share that the asshole I'm married to called me Rachel this morning because of my new wig. He then asked,"are you even black?" and laughed like he was freaking Chris rock. Stupid jerk.

Wow, I mean, to not see any wrong-doing in what she did is the biggest blinders I have ever seen!!!
She didn't lose her jobs and career path because she was "identifying as Black" she lost them because she is short-sighted and deceptive. You can't work for social justice without empathy, but your empathy cannot mean that you take on the identity of everyone you work to help.
