So I just learned that the American Cheese Society hosts an annual cheese festival. It is one of the biggest cheese festivals in the country each year. Apparently it is going to be in my city in two weeks. It costs $60 to attend a two hour cheese sampling.
I love cheese but H thinks it is a waste of money. What say you, MM?

I was going to say absolutely yes until I read that it's only 2 hours. I don't know that I could do $60 worth of damage in 2 hours. So I'm on the fence.
Can you find a list of the cheeses offered, or the cheesemongers (or whatever professional cheese people are called)?
MH always turns down the local craft beer feats because they're "nothing special." But he did the same thing you suggested for the last one - volunteered and got in for free (plus a pint glass, shirt, and $50).
I came in here and have almost never been so excited in my life. Yes, go. And if I lived within 1000 miles of you I'd come too! Look up the cheese list first and scout where the booths are so you can visit the best cheeses!!!

$60 sounds like a lot. Also it would probably be a waste for me because as much as I love cheese it is the low class kind like cheddar and mozzarella, none of that fancy high brow shit for me.
That said if you want to go, go with a friend. That way it is only costing you $60 instead of $120.

Sounds like a great date to me! A decent dinner and a movie will cost $85, and which will you remember more. I would go early and be the last one there!
