I got out of the shower and he had vacuumed.
The dining room chairs were outside, one of the rugs was draped over the drying rack in the laundry room, my random pairs of shoes were on a window sill, the ottoman was upside down on the couch, the closet hamper was on his dresser, etc.

This morning I told him "This house absolutely must be vacuumed today. It's an absolute disaster" followed by sighing, shaking my head, and walking into another room.

That's how I vacuum.
In my defense, I hate vacuuming. Hate it. So when I feel the motivation to do it, I jump on it. Instead of picking up things like shoes and toys beforehand I pick things up and place them in odd places as I go. If I pick up first I'll just go "Oh, well, good enough" and not vacuum.

My H does that too. He moves the the couch, tv console, wingback chairs and vacuums under all of them. The only things he doesn't move are the piano and bookcases, because its impossible with only one dude.
