Anyone have a recommendation for a good core workout? I'm still having issues with leakage...tmi. It's being magnified the last few weeks due to coughing. Ugh.
Kegals! Leg lifts, but make sure you engage your core.
Have you seen a Physical therapist for it? If it's a post partum issue your insurance may cover it. You may have to get a referral from your OB. I did this and it was so great.

No, haven't seen a PT for this. I need to remember to do kegels on a more regular basis. My "baby" is 18 months so not sure if this should still be an issue.

If it started during your pregnancy or after birth I'd def talk to your OB. Should it be an issue... Hard to say. If you'd had some PT right after birth as is the norm in other countries, you could possibly have fixed it earlier on. But I don't think it's abnormal at all for it still to be an issue at 18 months, especially with no PT. I had 2 months of weekly sessions starting when my DD2 was 4 months old and I wish I'd done it earlier. My diastasis recti and prolapse improved so much with the exercises. I haven't kept up with them since and I still have some separation and prolapse issues, but still way better.
