Or unpopular. At least on this board I think. I obviously agree with you!
No. I would be totally down with eliminating the 2nd amendment and getting rid of every gun in regular homes altogether. Maybe leaving aside simple hunting rifles but that would be it. I don't see why regular, non law enforcement people need guns in their homes.
It's a 5 hour round trip between my parents home and ours. I've been doing it lately solo. With potty stops for DS1 and once to nurse DS2 it takes me between 5 hours and 45 minutes and 6 hours. Every stop is at least 15 minutes to get into a service stop with a toddler and infant.
I had to pee, but couldn't bear going in again (damn you latte!). So at a text stop, whilst studying my phone so everyone would think I was looking at directions, I peed in my son's diaper and then threw it out immediately.
After I immediately thought of the poster that peed in a Starbucks cup during a conference call. Lol
IRL, I am fairly proper and reserved, so this is way outside the norm for me, but I couldn't bear bring everyone inside again!
How did this WORK? Did you dribble? I have peed in a cup in a moving vehicle but a diaper? Did it absorb ALL the pee?
Were you on a road trip with g.ypsy? Lol.
It was actually super clean. I sat on a diaper and did a slow controlled pee. It did absorb it all -- I have a tiny bladder. No dribbles, thankfully! Lol
IDK. I was soooooo sheltered growing up and wasn't allowed to watch anything. Then by the time I got to college I met alcohol and was too busy playing beer pong to watch it.
Stupid confession: I hate when people say their kid can swim and then turns out kid can doggie paddle & barely keep himself from drowning. To me a kid not sinking like a rock and barely making it 10' =/= swimming. Your kid swims all 4 strokes (ok AT LEAST ONE) properly the length of a pool, THEN you can claim they can swim.
I am pretty sure this means I can't swim lol. I cam swim underwater the length of the pool, but pretty sure frog swimming is not an official stroke lol.I guess I could maybe do one of the 4 strokes, but not gracefully by any means.
There's a chance my name could appear on the Ashley Madison client list when it gets released.
Bear with me here. Back when I was married to my first husband I suspected a couple of times he was cheating. Out of desperation to find any info I could I created an account to see if he was on there. I scanned through every active profile. I'm 90% sure I used a fake name or his name (but never paid for a subscription or anything). If I had the foresight to use his name then ha. Hahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I feel like Roseanne is tame compared to a lot of the t.v. today... Even the things marketed to teens and Tweens on ABC family. But, my parents basically banned nothing. I saw my first rated R movie in the theater (the Last of the Mohicans) when I was 7. I am probably tainted.
I hate paying full price for day care knowing that there are some families who pay a fraction of what I do because they receive subsidies. We waited until we had money saved, good jobs, etc. before having kids, so we could pay $1000/mo for part time day care when someone else with 3 kids is paying $240/mo total.
And I understand that it's not always poor planning that leads to people being broke...sometime, shit just happens. I can still be bitter though, especially when I stress out about how much it will cost us to have two kids in day care eventually.

Oh good God, this bullshit right here.
I... actually made the "Way harsh, Tai" face while reading that. OMG. And in keeping with the theme:
I've seen all the rest of these, and parts of Pretty In Pink, just never the whole thing.
The 90s teen movies are much more my jam, I think based on my age. I mean, She's All That? 10 Things I Hate About You? Required watching for sure.
But, the 80's ones are the classics that paved the way for the 90's genre. Kirkette pours one out for John Hughes, while listening to The Rockafeller Skank.Â
And apparently the 90s paved the way for the 2010s, because I watched The Duff the other day and it is a full on 90s teen movie made in 2014. Complete with a cheesy high school dance at the end. They ALL have a dance at the end, amiright!?

She's All That is truly bad, in hindsight. We tried to watch it a couple years ago and... ugh. 10 Things was decent.
I don't know that all the Brat Pack movies are necessary, but definitely TBC, Pretty in Pink, and Sixteen Candles.

Maybe you should look in the mirror and ask yourself this question...

Good lord, ABC Family is not family friendly at all. It's like Lifetime junior.
I know. It is bizarre, but so many of my adult students tell me their kids watch that stuff.

Uh, what? They are probably paying around the same percentage of their pay as you are.

If you are so bitter then don't have your second child until you have made more money so it won't phase you.
Or, ya know, step out of your white privilege bubble and realize that there are myriads of reasons that someone can't afford to pay what you pay for daycare and yes, sometimes shit happens. I hope it doesn't happen to you. Your judgment is ridiculous.
