Sprinting and climbing. Other toddler parents are always "Wow. He's...busy." I KNOW. Someone I know told me they'd never seen a little toddler as curious and into everything as DS and their son was the craziest kid I've ever known. I'm scared.
3. Food & Drink?
Still nursing a couple times a day. Loves meat of any kind and bananas.
4. How's the word stuff coming?
I think he's to 50 words. DD had a serious speech delay and was later diagnosed with a speech disorder so this chattering toddler thing is new to us. He doesn't put two words together yet though.
5. Cute story/behavior?
He does happy and sad faces when we read Duck and Goose How Are You Feeling. We got it from the library so he'd never heard it before and just did the faces the first time I read it. I didn't know he knew how! He also pretend eats all the play food meals DD cooks for him.
6. Favorite toy(s)?
This week the Melissa and Doug ice cream play food. It's magnetic so easy for him to stack and carry around. He also loves cars, his mower and he LOVES books.
7. How's sleep going?
Not bad finally! It took him until fifteen months but he finally started STTN. He goes to bed at 8PM and wakes up at 5:50AM lol. Nice long afternoon nap (don't let me jinx it don't let me jinx it)
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc.
Oh, the tantrums. He also has started doing the arch back carseat refusal if he's pissed he's had to leave somewhere. It's always when it's 105 out and I'm parked on blacktop.

1. How old is your LO? 18 months next week
2. Mobility musings? He's working on going up and down steps while standing. He does stairs well in a crawling position, and we'll let him navigate the stairs alone now (which is so much easier from a supervision perspective). He sort of jogs but hasn't done an all out run yet. We're starting swim lessons too.
3. Food & Drink? Such a bad eater....ugh. I'm afraid the pedi will yell at me at his 18 mo. He survives on yogurt, whole milk, breast milk, juice and tiny bits of other things. He won't even sit in his high chair except for a few minutes.
But he must be getting something b/c he just went up to a 6.5 shoe size (ugh, shoes are pricey!)
4. How's the word stuff coming? Verbal seems to be picking up in the past week or so. He's learning words faster now. I love when he says "pease" (can't say his "Ls")
5. Cute story/behavior? DH plays this game where he hides a stuffed zebra toy in a high place and DS has to go find him. When he spots him he screams and points with joy. It's the cutest thing ever.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Car and truck obsessed. OBSESSED. He also loves the Neato. He always wants to turn it on.
7. How's sleep going? Ugh, he's an early riser - 5:30am. I bought the 'OK to wake clock' and I'm hoping it helps. So tired.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. This kid can throw a tantrum. I need to work on mirroring his emotions but sometimes I can't avoid a melt down (especially after 5pm).He tends to throw things in anger and has bitten me a couple times. I need to read a book on all this...
I'm back from vacation and I need a distraction from all the work that piled up while I was away...
1. How old is your LO? 18 months in a couple of days
2. Mobility musings? He is all over - tries to run all the day
3. Food & Drink? Everything. I'm taking full advantage before it changes.
4. How's the word stuff coming? Not much. He says a few words and he knows to follow one step directions but not many words.
5. Cute story/behavior? He is being super clingly so my mind is clouded with that, lol. He is super cute when he lets go and goes to get a book for me to read. Then I remember I've read the same book a gazillion times. (I'm tired and cranky so read accordingly! )
6. Favorite toy(s)? Balloons. And music toys.
7. How's sleep going? Better - he wakes up around 4 and we go to my bed. Its used to be at midnight.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. The little bugger smiles at me when he is doing something wrong. No's are met with a smile too.
9. PIP!
Eta picture
I brought these headphones at the boards suggestion - he loves them.
2. Mobility musings? Running. Everywhere. Climbs on everything. He's gotten much more careful with his walking and running.
3. Food & Drink? He loves fruit and veggie burgers. Weird kid He loves his milk in the mornings and when he wakes up from nap.
4. How's the word stuff coming? He babbles all day long. I feel like he has a lot of words. He sings his abcs, which is the most adorable thing ever. His favorite part is 'LMNOP' .
5. Cute story/behavior? He loves our dogs. He calls them Ardo (Arnold) and BoBo (Bogey). I wake up to him calling them from his crib.
6. Favorite toy(s)? The VTech car racer. He pushes it, it talks, he runs away laughing. They goes and does it again. And Books. He loves 'reading' them.
7. How's sleep going? Great expect when he's sick. He sleeps 7:45-7:00.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. He hates to be all done with things. He doesn't like No. I try to ignore the tantrums.
2. Mobility musings? - meij I sympathize completely. DD is going non-stop all the time. She's just recently started climbing (thank goodness it didn't start earlier!) and has even tried to climb out of her crib. She is in a sleepsack night and naps, so luckily bedtime isn't an issue, but she loves playing in her crib during the day so I have to watch her carefully so she doesn't learn that she CAN climb out!
We've been to 2 weeks of mommy & me gymnastics and she's really learning to use her arms and body in a more controlled manner. She runs everywhere and loves going on long, leisurely HOT walks. Strollers and wagons are for chumps, unfortunately.
3. Food & Drink? - She eats very well, for the most part. She'll go through phases where she will refuse a certain food. For example, we're "off" cheese sticks and yogurt right now, but 3 months ago she'd easily and happily put down 2 cheese sticks for snack and dairy was her primary protein source.
4. How's the word stuff coming? - She's very verbally advanced.
5. Cute story/behavior? - I'm sure this will be much less cute in a month, but she's just recently started shushing me and telling me to wait.
For example, she'll say "ABC!" and point to me so I start singing the ABC song. I usually get to about Q before she says "no! mama! no! no! no!" and waggles her finger at me until I stop. Then she'll start singing "A B C" herself (that's a far as she can get).
Also she'll randomly tell me "Minute" (wait a minute) and hold out her hand in a stop signal. It's hilarious. She was attempting to put her own shoes on in the car when I was sitting in the back with her. I reached over to help and she said "Minute!" It was hilarious.
6. Favorite toy(s)? - Anything stuffed and shaped like an animal. She adores her tea set (we have both the leapfrog rainbow one and the FP one, and she much prefers the Leapfrog). She's finally starting to do things with her baby dolls other than put them down for naps. She'll try to change diapers, feed them, push them in the stroller, etc. I need to get more doll accessories soon.
7. How's sleep going? - Great. Best sleep of her life. Goes to bed around 8-8:30 and is up around 7-7:30. If we're traveling (which we've done a lot this summer) she'll take an 1.5 hr nap. At home she'll nap 2-3 hours.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. - Oy. It's BAD. She hits. A lot. Not at daycare actually, but at home and with family. We're still trying to figure out a good discipline strategy. Time outs are not working because she finds them to be a game and funny. We had a miserable gymnastics class last week where I left crying because she spent the whole time screaming at me and smacking me because I was trying to get her to wait her turn. She doesn't randomly tantrum very often, only when she's super tired or hungry.
9. PIP! Outside is her favorite place, and she LOVES to color. Here she is, covered head to toe in chalk. She actually holds writing implements perfectly. I'm amazed at her skills with that, since I still don't hold them "right" at 31! ETA: Ok, just a couple more pictures because I cannot get over how stinking adorable my child is. Her hair is long enough for a tiny ponytail. She doesn't look much like a baby anymore though.

1. 17.5 months (!) 2. Walking all over! He skipped the unstable, wobbly phase since he decided to wait so long to walk. Lol. 3. Milk at meals, water in between. Loves cheese, pizza, etc. refuses vegetables out of principle (except peas). I do sneak veggies in green smoothies and quesadillas though. 4. Ehhhh. Still worried the pedi will want us to look into it more. He says ball, mama (?), dada, bye, Lucy (the dog), and probably 8-10 animal noises. He signs more, all done, please, bye/hi too. The words he says though, don't use the last letters of the word (ball is baaaa). Is this common/okay? 5. He's just so good- he loves giving kisses and will grab our faces to pull toward him for a kiss. Lol. 6. The dog. Also books and stickers. 7. Good- bed by 7 and wakes up between 6 and 6:30 usually. 2-4 hour nap in the afternoon. 8. He doesn't really have any tantrums. He will just ignore me if he doesn't like what I am saying. Lol. We have put him in a small baby jail in the corner of the room as "time out" when he really doesn't listen and it is important (hitting the dog), but that was only once or twice and he stopped/listens. 9.

1. How old is your LO? 18 mos
2. Mobility musings? Very mobile. Walks. Climbs. Runs.
3. Food & Drink? He has always been a great eater. Still is. I'm hoping that doesn't change.
4. How's the word stuff coming? So many words! He had like 65 at the 18 month appointment and they just keep coming! He loves to repeat what you say, and I often notice that the next day, a word that was merely repeated the day before is now in his vocabulary. I love it because I feel like about 90% of the time I know what he wants. It's a wondeful development.
5. Cute story/behavior? I was putting laundry away in his room and he carried a pile of my clothes in to me. I said, "put them in mummy's room," expecting him to take them and dump them on the floor. He took them in and stuffed them, as well as he could, into a bottom drawer. So sweet!
6. Favorite toy(s)? Toy lawnmower, crawl around car has had a "rebirth", toy cars...
7. How's sleep going? Great.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Regular toddler stuff. Nothing too bad.

1. How old is your LO? Almost 18 months
2. Mobility musings? She doesn't walk - she only runs as fast as she can She is turning into a big climber, too, which worries me. Oh, also in the past week or two, she has started trying to skip or jump while she runs. She's nowhere near actually accomplishing it, but it's so cute to see how excited she gets when she tries.
3. Food & Drink? She loves to eat almost anything (most days). We finally found something she won't even try - mushrooms. I put them on her plate, she gave me a look that clearly said, "Are you kidding me?" Then she picked them up and put them in my hand, all while shaking her head no. (I was secretly proud of her, as mushrooms are in my top three most hated foods )
4. How's the word stuff coming? This is the one area we're worried about. She says dada, cat, and that. That's it. She does sign a ton, and is starting to pick up new signs really quickly. She also has really great receptive language skills, so I'm trying not to be too worried.
5. Cute story/behavior? She recently discovered twirling around in a circle. I think she got the idea from watching the ceiling fan She will twirl, twirl, twirl as long as she can, frequently falling over but getting right back up to start twirling again.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Boxes. She loves putting as many things into a box as she can, then pulling them all out, rinse and repeat.
7. How's sleep going? Great. She generally goes down without a fuss, and sleeps 12-13 hrs overnight. We've been down to one nap for a while; the length varies greatly, but she usually will nap for at least 1.5 hours.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. She is really starting to master making it impossible for me to pick her up when she's mad. She manages to throw her arms up in just the right way that she no longer has any armpits, then throws herself down on the floor to wail. So much fun. But luckily she is usually easily distracted from her tantrums so far, so we haven't had to deal with too many discipline issues.

humpforfree I think it's pretty common for kids to drop a few letters on a word, or miss letters in general. I think the important thing is to continue saying it correctly and not mirroring their words (even though it's so cute!). You can mention it to your pedi if you're concerned. This is such a dynamic age, things seem to change overnight.
I hope you're feeling well with your second on the way!

1) 17 months tomorrow 2) was late to walk (15 months), but has taken off since then. I have no concerns about his motor skills at this point. 3) eats well. Hasn't hit the picky stage yet so I'm introducing him to as much as possible while he's receptive. Sometimes we struggle to get him to drink enough water. It's really hot and he need to stay hydrated. Still nursing. 4) language is booming the last week or so. Went from 1-2 Mayans words to 4-5 real, clear words and another 5-6 sort of words. I expect to see a big uptick in language when he's in formal daycare this fall. 5) he has mastered "up". And will now stand in his crib in the morning yelling " uP! uP! uP!" Which is far better than screeching 6) OBSESSED with balls or anything that resembles a ball. and books. We read, he "reads". 7) sleep is still great after that hellish first year. Sometimes bedtime is a struggle, but once he's down he sttn. 8) I just ordered Positive Disciple. Mostly we redirect. Occasion tantrums, but nothing shocking.

Thanks simpsongal & sweetday . We repeat words a LOT and try to enunciate a ton so he hears things over and over. Hopefully it will catch on. He does understand pretty much everything we say, so I try not to be worried. I am feeling well! Just huge and sore, lol. heygrey yes! Balls! I don't know how I forgot them as a toy.. lol. He is obsessed. I would call it his first word, and any time he sees one "baaa? Baaaaa?" Hopefully Lane follows R on words too, since he was a month or so behind him on walking too

1. How old is your LO? 18 months on Wednesday
2. Mobility musings? He doesn't stop. Just started climbing more and sorta runs. Someone told me they've never seen a 1.5 year old so independent and everywhere... I thought they were all like this, but maybe I do have a hyper kid, lol
3. Food & Drink? Toddler phases suck. He gets whole milk with every meal and drinks over 16 oz a day. Then he eats lots of veggies and fruit one day, but won't touch it the next. He loves cheese, but has even hit phases where he refuses that. It's crazy. And I hope teething related.
4. How's the word stuff coming? Slowly. He has about 10 words that he won't use consistently or when we try to prompt him. He calls everything dada or mama, us, the cat, the sky.
But just yesterday something happened. He start babbling up a storm even more than before, putting these long strings of new sounds together like he's having a conversation with you, just none of it is in English. Since he's somewhat behind, I don't know if this is a precursor to actually saying more words? Do other kids do this first?
5. Cute story/behavior? G has a cot cover for daycare that comes home every Friday to be washed. It's a pillow attached to a rectangular cushion with a small blanket sewn on. He likes to lay on any blanket like he's going to sleep (including the cat bed). Yesterday he got a hold of the cot cover, unrolled it, and laid on it while waving to me and saying 'night night'. Then when I laid on the pillow with him, he kept shoving me off. Apparently he won't share that :-)
Also interesting, if I lay on the floor, he'll tackle me and wrestle. But he won't do it to DH. I say it's about time he likes me better for something because he always wants his dad more.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Not a thing. We rotate them and he isn't attached to anything except what he can't have. He is now liking stuffed animals occasionally. And we just got him a train table that he likes.
7. How's sleep going? He's in bed by 6:30 and we wake him at 5am on weekdays. Weekends he'll sleep until 6. Sometimes if I leave books and toys in the crib, he'll play with them until 7, which is Awesome. Kid still looooves his sleep and takes 2 naps if we let him on weekends.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Ugh. He has also mastered the boneless thing mentioned by timorousbeastie. How do they do that?! But there are good days and bad days and it's all probably typical. He was biting at daycare but moving him to be with bigger kids stopped that. I'm not thrilled with the new room though.
1. 18.5 months 2. Very mobile. He walks all over and it is adorable when he runs. He also looooves to climb. 3. He's a pretty good eater most of the time. He loves Keifer too, which I find so weird. 4. Uh, he does not talk. He babbles a lot, but doesn't say many words. I think he has around 10-15. 20 if we really stretch the meaning of word. He's very good at following instructions though. I have a referral to EI that I need to follow though with. 5. If I tell him "let's change your butt!" He will run to his changing table. If I tell him "lay down and go night-night" over the monitor he will. I love it, it's adorable. 6. Stuffed rocket ship, anything with wheels 7. He sleeps 12-13 hours at night with a 1 hour nap. 8. He throws adorable tantrums right now. I'm really working on redirection. He loves to unplug things, I can't get him to stop :/ 9.
2. Mobility musings? He is ALWAYS on the go! He never just walks slowly, its always a jog or run. He also HATES holding hands, so will flip out whenever we try and hold his hand to slow him down. He can go up the stairs easily, but we are working on safely coming down the stairs (I am trying to get him to come down on his butt)
3. Food & Drink? He is really starting to become picky over the last 2-3 weeks. He likes Meatballs, Cheese and bean quesadilla, pizza, burrito bowls from Chipolte, Nuggets, fries, yogurt, cheerios with milk, fruit and grain bars, waffles/ pancakes, bagels, pouches, GOLD FISH are his #1 love in life.
4. How's the word stuff coming? He is doing well with his language and is always talking. He has about 30 words right now. He is always picking up new words, and surprising me.
5. Cute story/behavior? He has become obsessed with Tractors and Trucks, and now every time we are in the car he play "spy the truck" and will point put every truck that passes us. The same with Planes....he NEVER missed a plane, and has ears like a hawk (which is funny considering my husband is deaf) and can hear every plane that goes by and runs for the sliding door to try and see it.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Trucks, Trains, Cars, Cozy Coupe, riding toys, balls, bubbles, water table, remotes, cell phones, anything that is not a toy but he finds and shouldn't play with...lol
7. How's sleep going? Sleeping is going well, sleeps 7:30pm-6:45/7am every night. Take one 3hr nape a day from 1pm-4pm.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Ugh, we are trying to work on tantrums. He has zero patients, and no impulse control...so that's always fun!
9. PIP! Will try and find a recent one when I get home.
2. Mobility musings? Knees my chest to get down to run, tries to dive out of my arms all of a sudden
3. Food & Drink? Some days she doesn't eat much and some days she is insane
4. How's the word stuff coming? She is using a lot of 2 word combos like "open gate", "bubble mow", "big truck", "mama help"
5. Cute story/behavior? Imitation has started. We spray the dog with a water bottle when he bangs on the gate during dinner. She now takes the water bottle and goes and holds it up to his nose. She also tries to drink from a cup when she sees me doing it. And talking on the phone to my sister - she says "Hooo" for hello and then mid conversation "bye bye".
6. Favorite toy(s)? Bubble mower and water table
7. How's sleep going? We are going to chose a night to do CIO as she has learned how to drag bedtime out for an hour+
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. She doesn't really tantrum although she'll throw herself on the floor (but no crying). Discipline not going well - she laughs when she is naughty and just keeps doing whatever she's not supposed to until I remove her. She doesn't get upset when removed, she just goes on to the next no item.
2. Mobility musings? She is constantly on the move. She is super independent and always running. She loves to go up and down the stairs and is trying to go down like a big girl.
3. Food & Drink? She eats allllllll the fruit but is not a fan of vegetables at all. Good thing she will eat pouches! Also she loves cheese but will not eat mac & cheese. I think spaghetti is probably her favorite food. She does still nurse at wakeup, before weekend naps, and before bed.
4. How's the word stuff coming? She has maybe 10-15 words and a bunch of animal sounds. She definitely understands a lot, even if she can't verbalize it just yet.
5. Cute story/behavior? She has started blowing raspberries and trying to tickle people which is basically the cutest thing ever! Also she is obsessed with dogs. When we spent a few days with my parents she loved going out to see their dog. Now half the time when we go outside she starts yelling "paaaaa! (puppy) woof woof!" and looks around expectantly, just waiting for a dog to show up.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Tupperware. Also she loves stuffed animals.
7. How's sleep going? Pretty well. She usually sleeps 8-730 or so, though lately she's been getting up earlier (in fairly certain that's teething related).
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. She has a temper for sure. Lots of dramatic flopping onto the floor or couch when she doesn't get her way.
1. 18 months this week 2. He's a maniac, daycare comments how active h is. He is also super clumsy and sometimes his brain moves faster than his feet so he's always covered in bruises and cuts 3. It varies by day 4. Not so great he has probably 15 words but doesn't use the, consistently. His receptive language is great and he follows directions but he won't say things especially if he knows you want him to. 5. He loves to be outside. We have 6 acres and he meets dh at the door everyday to go explore (hence the bruised legs) 6.his little tykes truck 7. Not bad 8. He is a opinionated and stubborn boy just like his mom
DS was like this and two weekends ago he just started saying everything under the sun. His time will come soon, promise.
I'm back from vacation and I need a distraction from all the work that piled up while I was away...
1. How old is your LO?18months 1 week
2. Mobility musings?runs, goes up and down stairs safely on his belly, just starting to climb up on things
3. Food & Drink?loves veggies and fruits the most, eats meats, doesn't love cheese, isn't a huge sweets kid but the occasionally cookie
4. How's the word stuff coming?just started two weekends ago now repeats everything.
5. Cute story/behavior?the other night we were at a friends house in the pool, he noticed the moon for the first time. It was really sweet and special to watch him discover something
6. Favorite toy(s)?balls, bubbles, Legos
7. How's sleep going?ha some nights better than others.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. He has tantrums a lot and is hitting or scratching me. I'm trying time out but not sure he gets it yet. .

1. How old is your LO? 16 months
2. Mobility musings? She walks everywhere now and is starting to run sometimes, she walk up and downstairs while holding our hands.
3. Food & Drink? She's starting to get pickier with food but she loves fruits especially strawberries and grapes. And pretty much any meat or fish. Veggies are a no go most of the time but we keep offering them. She will eat peas sometimes. Hates yogurt and most cheese, so drinks 3 cups of milk a day which she loves. Drinks tons of water all day long.
4. How's the word stuff coming? Great, she has at least over 30 words now and is repeating so much that we say now!
5. Cute story/behavior? She found this feather duster and was dusting the cat the other day, it was adorable!
6. Favorite toy(s)? Current favorites are a tea seat, duplos and little people.
7. How's sleep going? Pretty good...she's been working on molars and waking up at night when they bother her but usually she's still sleeping all night from 7;30-7:30. Only naps about 1.5-2 hours though.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Hasn't been too bad yet, but it's been getting harder to calm her down when she gets really upset. Still doing lots of redirection to try and avoid tantrums when possible.
2. She's walking and running so much. Luckily, she's not a climber.
3. Loves fruit, yogurt and Asian food. She doesn't eat too much meat and only drinks about 15 oz of milk a day.
4. She knows words in 3 languages. It's so cute! I love that she's growing up trilingual like my H and I did.
5. O is such a sweetheart. She's really in tune to my emotions. Sometimes at night my sciatica gets so bad that I will grimace in pain. She will look up immediately, run over, look me in the eyes to make sure I'm okay and give me a kiss and a hug.
6. Loves taking apart her legos/duplos
7. Sleep is shit. Never sttn, multiple wake-ups, likes to stay awake from 2-4 once or twice a week. It sucks so bad.
8. The tantrums haven't gotten so bad yet. We are able to redirect most of the time.
2. Mobility musings? Everywhere. I don't even know the words for it. He wanders the house just to move, I'm not sure he even understands that he can sit down and play. It's exhausting just to watch. Thankfully not a climber yet.
3. Food & Drink? llllllooooovesss milk. likes water. Will pretty much eat anything within his arms reach.
4. How's the word stuff coming? Says the basics. Probably about 6 words? But not consistently, and none of them are "mama".
5. Cute story/behavior? He loves to snuggle against you, and loves to give hugs. He really, really wants to love the cat who is just having none of it. He spends countless hours a day chasing the cat around the house trying to "hug" him. Poor cat.
6. Favorite toy(s)? CARS. One of his "words" is actually "vroom" and he just walks around with toys cars most of the time vrooming them all over everything.
7. How's sleep going? I probably can't complain. He goes down at 8, is up at 6. It's just SO early for me.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Ugh. We have entered a biting stage. It's maddening, and he just thinks it's the funniest thing ever.
I love these posts but also hate them when my kid is behind! Oh well, I know that everyone is different.
1. How old is your LO? Almost 18 months (1/30/14)
2. Mobility musings? He walks, runs, and gets into everything. This past week he started walking backwards and seemed very pleased with himself.
3. Food & Drink? Eats decently most days. Doesn't love cooked zucchini and broccoli. Struggles with raw veggies because he's late in getting teeth - I've given him a baby carrot so he could try eating it but it was too hard. Right now he only has the four front teeth and part of the front lateral incisors on top. Is a hot mess eating - thank goodness for the dog to clean up some of the mess under the high chair.
4. How's the word stuff coming? Not great. Says a handful of words purposefully but compared to his peers he seems behind. We have his 18m appt next week so I'm going to ask about it. He signs and understands a lot but doesn't have a lot to say apart from babbles. He starts MDO again in Sept so maybe the exposure to other kids will help?
5. Cute story/behavior? Loooooves grandma (my mom). Had my brother's wedding last weekend and he is clearly obsessed with her. Sobbed when she put him down to take photos.
6. Favorite toy(s)? Water table, bubble machine, CARS. Will make a car out of anything and push it around the floor.
7. How's sleep going? Sleeps through night. Most days he takes 1 nap but if we go out in the morning and are more active, he'll take 2.
8. Now the bad...tantrums and discipline, etc. Doesn't throw tantrums but does complain when I take his milk cup away in the family room, etc. I try to redirect and he gets over it. His favorite "bad" thing to do is play in the dog's water dish. I try to redirect but he's like a moth to a flame with that damn dish. The dog looks annoyed but doesn't care.
I'm back from vacation and I need a distraction from all the work that piled up while I was away...

9. PIP!
1. 19 months. 12/21/13 2. He is getting good at going up and down the stairs by himself and also learning to open doors...yikes! 3. He eats well but will only eat veggies in a pouch and doesn't really like bread. 4. He's doing well...slow and steady. Now he is starting to say two words at a time - "no more" "the ball" 5 he has a BFF at daycare that he will hug and kiss goodbye every day when leaving DC. It's adorable. 6. Balls, bubbles, water 7. Pretty good he sleeps 7-6/7 and 2 hr nap at 12 8. They are epic! Last night he screamed at me for 10 mins straight for no reason then I showed him a ball and all was right in the world. I lol at people who say "I just walk away when they have a tantrum" mine follows me all through the house whining.
