I did Gillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown yesterday. That is not yoga and it's hard! It was only my second time doing it but it was harder than I rembered.
Today I'm doing 30 day shred.
The rest of the week will be a mixture of Firm videos, 30 day shred, and probably try yoga meltdown again. I've also been trying to get out for a walk with the kids in the evenings provided it's not too hot.
Lately, J is very interested in my workouts and I've been letting him decide which video I do.
Anyone know of any other 20 mins videos similar in intensity to 30ds? I generally do videos wth step aerobics, weights etc. Like the Firm. Usually 45 to 50 minutes. BUt some days I can only fit in 20 or 30 and I'm getting tired of 30ds.

I have been feeling really run down and sore the past couple weeks so I am going to back off to 5 days this week and see if that helps me feel better. I am starting a 21 day bootcamp challenge.
Today- Off Tuesday- Arms, abs and cardio Wednesday- legs, glutes and cardio Thursday- off or light cardio Friday- chest, back and cario Saturday- Run Sunday- Fullbody and run
I'm hopefully working on getting my energy back this week.
I want to run a lot this week to get back where I was. I used to be able to run 4 miles and not want to die. These last couple weeks I couldn't hardly walk 2.
So focus on that and probably lots of yoga/stretchy strength type stuff.
Goal of 15K for the pedometer each day. Still low carbing it and eating salads whenever I can.
Yesterday I went to the gym and channel 850, MC Hits of Today or something like that really forced me to stay on the treadmill and run more than I would've by myself. I want to do that again! I can't run with headphones so this was really awesome. But then we were out all afternoon and evening yesterday and I forgot to transfer the pedometer to my pants and I'm mad the steps didn't register. It was "build your own tacos" at our friend's place but no one was eating the lettuce so I made a taco salad yay.
This morning DD and I went mall walking but she was fussing so we didn't walk as much as we could. So I have to go for a walk after work then.
I ran 2.5 this morning. I would have gone longer but I had to get the kids to swim lessons, everything felt great. DH his oot so I may go to Zumba later.
Tomorrow, piyo and a short run Wednesday, Zumba Thursday, I dunno, maybe a long run Friday, my babysitter is here and it's the last day before DH gets home, so probably aerobic cleaning lol
We have birthdays parties all weekend, I'm sure I'll be spurred on by the MMM Fitbit challenges in between . I'd love to have at least one 20,000 day this week.
Things are starting to click again when I'm running. It's amazing how quickly that went away and how long it took to get it back. I'd love to actually start training for something this fall. We'll see how the next few weeks go. Sadly the scale hasn't moved at all and I've been going hard for a few weeks now. I think I need to cut back on the booze and I don't know if it's worth it.

My energy is just shot. I made it to the gym M/T/Sat last week and felt like that was pushing it.
I've done something for 8 of the last 9 days after a few weeks of being less consistent. I can really feel the difference in the ~4 pound range I oscillate in, and I would prefer to be near the lower end, but that would probably involve eating less ice cream. Booh.
Today was a 3mi run, tomorrow is off and Wednesday is TBD (traveling solo w kids). Thursday a DVD or jogging stroller run. Friday probably a DVD. I'll try to do something both Saturday and Sunday since DH and I can easily cover for each other.
I'm thinking about an upcoming 5k but may just take DD1 to do the kid part. She said she's game for a race.

Monday:Barre Burn
DH has a crazy schedule the rest of the week. I'm hoping to go to the gym Wednesday night. We have company arriving Friday, so I think I will be doing lots of walking this weekend, but no formal workouts.
DH and I started the same plan as bowies today. We were supposed to start at the end of last week but the kids were a shit show at bedtime. We eased into the meal plan over the weekend though. We did total cardio fix tonight and I'm already feeling it. This does not bode well.
Ps- we bought it on amazon. No special shakes for us, just regular protein powder.
