OH, I'm so sorry for your H and your MIL; it's always hard. I have to love and admire GMIL's attitude, though. I hope the rest of her family can find peace.

He's ok for now, she looked good when we stopped over to see her on Saturday (except for the tumors on her back). So he's like "well maybe she has a few months left, she looked ok to me...I bet she makes it until winter, maybe Christmas even..."
So a little bit of denial at play, I think.
I'm sorry @koko. When H's grandma was dx'd with pancreatic cancer in April 2012, my H and FIL were the same way. It was really hard on my H when he saw her near the end (she passed in October 2012), and the realization that the cancer would take her really set in. I hope your GMIL is comfortable.
