Guys, I know I'm a broken record lately, I apologize.
So I was in the ER twice last week for fluids/meds. 14 weeks pregnant. Diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum.
I'm still puking. Not as badly, but all I've kept down since yesterday is some popcorn, milk (which makes no sense), and a small glass of water. I'm on reglan every 8hrs and zofran every 4hrs. And now I'm having intermittent abdominal cramps. Not awful, just uncomfortable. No spotting.
Would you call the doctor? I feel like such a pain in the ass, and I feel stupid for even asking because I always tell people to call.
TIA
Update: so, the doctor is setting me up with a home health consult to see about getting a pump/fluids/meds at home. I'm supposed to hear from them in a couple days, they're checking to see if my insurance covers it first.

3 time HG sufferer here....can you ask your OB about taking Unisom/Vit B? Or have you tried that yet? Zofran, Reglan, Phergan(sp?) never even touched my HG and I spent a good portion of my first pregnancy hospitalized for rehydration because my HG was uncontrollable. I switched doctors and was told about Unisom and it literally changed my life. I know you've probably had approx 1million suggestions - HG moms usually get bucket loads of advice on how to "cure" morning sickness. But honestly with out taking Unisom, I would have spent my entire pregnancy in the hospital hooked up to an IV.
Call whenever you're worried. Call when you start feeling dehydrated (dehydration leads to more vomiting...which leads to more dehydration etc). It's especially important for HG moms to stay on top of your hydration even if it means in clinic or home IV therapy. When in doubt, call. That's what they're there for. And most OBs have a special spot in their hearts for HG patients because there is so little they can do for us and it's so miserable.
Hang in there, I'm sure you've heard it a million times but I'll say it again, HG sucks but the day you look into the eyes of your baby, it'll all seem worth it. I hope you find some relief soon!!
Thank you! I don't mind the advice, I'll try anything at this point. But I have already tried the unisom/b6 combo. No go. Phenergan KIND OF helped, but it also knocks me out. For hours. I can't use it when I have to work, or if I'm home alone with A.
I actually feel a little better this afternoon. *knock on wood* Maybe it's the start of more good days?
