This was about the administration suggesting a change to law to give ALL people extra time to vote (in Ohio, I think). IIRC, in Ohio, the military had an extra 3 days to vote. The administration was attempting to extend that to all people. I might be misremembering something, though...

Isn't it in Ohio that early voting is going to be curtailed for counties more likely to lean democrat but allowed for republican leaning counties? Someone please correct me if I am wrong on this one.

You're remembering correctly. I think it might also be that Ohio had a temper tantrum when the federal government suggested it and is now saying that if they're forced to allow early voting for everyone, they'll just allow it for no one? Something like that.

In Ohio, they used to have early voting days for all voters. The legislation changed the law to only allow military personnel the early voting period. The Obama administration filed a lawsuit seeking early voting for all, as the law was previously written. It is not, not has ever been about him taking away the military's right to vote. Yes, Ohio is the same state that GOP leaning counties had longer voting hours then Dem leading counties. The GOP SOS came out recently and stated that now all counties will have the same hours.
I was running on very little sleep so I postponed responding to the poster until I'd had a nap. I'm sending him a FB message later tonight setting him straight.
If it weren't for one private group I participate in on FB, I'd ditch it completely.
