I grew up here but haven't lived here since before I had kids. If you had one day (tomorrow, Thursday) to do something in the area, what would you do? DDs are 7, almost 4 and 16 mo. its supposed to be 90 tomorrow. We can hit up the pool with my fam, but we can do that in Cleveland. Looking for other ideas. So far I've thrown out there to DH duck tour, children's museum, science museum and aquarium. But I haven't been to any of those places in decades, so I really know nothing about them anymore. Help!

I took my twins (almost 5 years old) to Boston to visit my mom two weeks ago. We had an awesome time at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Parked near the Aquarium, had the kids wear their bathing suits and let them play in the various fountains, ride the carousel, had a picnic lunch, and then got ice cream in Faneuil Hall. It was a blast.

We also went to the Lego Discovery Center one day, which the kids loved, and the Museum of Science. Of all the things we did, the museum was their least favorite.
You may not be able to get duck tour tickets for tomorrow. When we tried, they were all sold out the day before.
The last I went on a Duck Tour, they launched from both the Museum of Science and Aquarium, so you could do either activity & Duck Tour in one day.
Aquarium for us is just a short visit - maybe two hours. MoS can be a full day, between the IMAX, planetarium, the lightening/electricity show, regular exhibits and I think I heard in the radio that there's currently a Pixar exhibit?
I think I'd do MoS and be flexible. If everyone is having fun, stay all day. If your crew isn't as interested or tired from walking the museum, go on the Duck Tour in the afternoon. Though I do think they sell out, so you might not be able to leave the decision to the last minute.

Awesome rec. I'm stealing this for my daughter. Nap time throws us off a tad but it could work for morning - lunch if we motivate early in the am.

We did the Pixar exhibit and it was really cool for adults but over the heads of my kids.
We got into the MoS for free through a reciprocal membership. I probably wouldn't recommend if you're paying full price and have been to other science museums.

I would do the Children's Museum over the MoS. I like the suggestion of the Greenway / Aquarium / ice cream at Faniuel Hall. All are pretty close together.
