I am 10dpo, I had a smallish gush of brown/red blood while showering this am.. After that it was like a very very mild period and a panty liner would have worked (I used a tampon). I POAS and got two VERY faint negatives but it was 5pm and many, many ounces of fluid into the day. I have back pain and its more towards the left side (I also felt ovulation pain on this side). I have not had much spotting this evening but then I had a few gushes of red, still much less than a normal period, this is my second cycle PP (DD is 14 months). I am going to test in the morning but can anyone relate or offer insight? I am tired and hungry and emotional ( i don't usually get that way during my period, I just get cramps and heavier flow). TIA, I am driving myself nuts and you guys are better than Google
Well I am hoping it was not an evaporation line or a hallucination I used First Response Early Result which are supposed to be better with not showing evaporation lines and detecting earlier.
I had red spotting at ~7 DPO and got a very faint positive at ~10 DPO. I thought for sure I was starting my period because I wasn't tracking that cycle and it was a longer cycle. Good luck!

I had implantation bleeding that I thought was the start of my period, but it only lasted for a couple hours and only day, which gave me a good indication that it wasn't my period. But I didn't test for five more days.
I had one instance of bright red spotting the same day I got my squinter of a BFP. (I think it was 11 or 12 dpo). I thought for sure I must've imagined the faint BFP or it was an evap line or something after I saw the red blood, but it didn't last and the BFPs got clearer in the following days. I'm 23 weeks now.
I'm always kind of skeptical about the hunger/moodiness/etc. type symptoms quite THIS early because I feel like those are the sorts of things you'll always be able to find if you symptom-spot. But if you got a faint BFP, nothing you've said would make me think you're NOT pregnant!
