My phone saga continues... Synopsis - my phone was drowned in coffee by my H (by accident), and my upgrade is 2 months away, and the apple care I purchased almost 2 years ago didn't cover it (though if I had purchased the same thing 6 months later it would have). So, I was going to have to pay $140 for the exact same old phone just to use it for 2 months and then have to pay again for the new one to use my upgrade. My H called AT&T and spoke with them for 45 mins, they refused to budge. I took the phone, politely explained that I had Verizon on the other line, that I was a ten year customer, and that 2 months didn't seem like a terribly long time. 5 minutes later, and my new phone will be in the mail tomorrow!! Woo!
