(Longtime lurker, rare poster) for the LEOs I know, and this is just through conversations, a lot are just trying to stay out of commenting on anything. It becomes exhausting when you have to defend your profession to people for the 1% of LEOs that are breaking the law themselves. I don't know how else to put it. I don't think it's ignorance on it but a lot of it is just trying to stay low.

One of my neighbors growing up was a cop, now retired. He posts a lot of "Don't want to get shot by police? Don't break the law!" Kind of crap.
I wasn't aware that driving without a front license plate was a capital crime, much less that Lensing is not only a cop, but a DA, 12-person jury, and a judge all in one. Where does he find the time?
