I'm not a huge salad fan, but I can eat one for a meal if it has a good amount of protein in it.
- A regular green tossed salad with hard-boiled eggs, cheese, and sliced ham.
- A caesar salad with lots of shredded parmesan and topped with grilled chicken.
- (Made this last night) Deconstructed chicken in a pita: lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onion tossed with a bit of vinaigrette and topped with shredded cheddar, toasted pita bread chips, and chicken tossed in bbq sauce.
--baby arugula, evoo, balsamic vinegar, marinated mozzarella balls, heirloom tomatoes and parm --avocado and shrimp on a bed of romaine with a sweet dressing --feta, sun dried tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette and grilled chicken --love adding toasted nuts to salads too mmm
look up the salad artist on youtube. He makes funny videos about building salads. He puts "weird" things together in them, but they end up working. (except the donut on top, that's a joke)
