Yay, none of the names in my family or that we've ever considered naming a child have been listed.
I can't think of particular names I strongly dislike, but I really dislike the whole profession-as-first-name trend: Porter, Fisher, etc. It doesn't sound attractive at all to me. (There are specific ones in this category I hesitate to type out in case my friends ever google their kids' names.)
I'm averse to names that end in i or ee. They seem ditzy to me, but I'm not sure why. It totally doesn't make sense that a Jenni or Brandee or Jami or Cari would be less smart than a Jenny or Brandy or Jamie or Carrie.
For boys, I mostly don't like last names used as first names: Jackson, Carter, Jameson, Reagan, etc
I don't like names usually associated with one gender used for the other gender, either. Like girls named Ryan.
I don't like a lot of the popular themes..."aden/ayden," names with lots of "y"s, and I really dislike the names Rowan & Declan which seem to be gaining in popularity these days.
Oh, and Jeffery. I have no rationale for that, but I hate it.
Jeffrey was always one of my names, sadly I married one! My mom used to call him that and I finally had to tell her to call him Jeff b/c I can't stand the name Jeffrey! Thank god he didn't want a junior when we had our sons!
Ha! I married one, too, and haaaaaate the name! Lol. So does he, thpugh. :-)
Rich, Richard, Rick, Dick. Just don't like the sound of it.
I hate this names as well especially Dick. I feel weird when I email someone at work who go by Dick.
I agree. It is super strange to me that people still use this name. It's even weirder to me when they were born after about 1960. I have met two people named Dick that are about my age, give or take a year, and it just floors me.
Michaela - ick! I don't care for McKayla either, but at least it looks like it sounds. It took me forever to realize an aquaintance's daughter was pronounced McKayla!
Any names that have Y where it really should be an i.
Names that also are alcoholic drinks - Jameson, Brandy, etc
And Jane, Anne, or Mary as first names. Such boring names.

The one name that I absolutely hate is Mariana. Probably because people want to add the extra "a" to my name (Marina). Oddly enough, when people call me Maria, Marine, etc, it doesn't bother me nearly as much.
Names I dislike/think are way over used: last names for first names, unisex names, boys names for girls, anything with extra letters and "y"s; -aiden names, Jimmy, Hank, Wayne, Melissa, Amy, Madison, Michaela/McKayla, Ruby, April, June, Mae, Megan, Bruce, Rich/Dick, Yves, Uma, Petunia, Pearl, Diane, Frances, Gertrude, Lola, Lisa, Zoe, Willow, Violet, Bob, Norbert. I'm realizing I just don't like a lot of names or I think a lot are overused, and I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now.
Luckily none of my girls' names are on here, but my top two boys (James and Henry) made it on here, but as you can tell above I hate the nicknames for both.
Oh dang, the only hate on my name was by someone who has it, so that didn't really count, but then it got another vote. (Jessica) Oh well....
Alissa's name didn't make it!
I don't like the name Declan. My bf's dd's name is RaeAnne and I don't really like it, but I don't hate it. For girls, I mainly dislike names with the random y's (which is why I chose the "i" spelling for Alissa's name)
