Pretty lazy day around here. I ran the Lake Union 10k this morning with my dad then we went to breakfast at Hi Life in Ballard (um, SO delicious). I don't get to hang out with my dad just the two of us often, so that was really fun. We had a pretty good race too.
I have a ton of stuff to do today but it was an early morning and I'm exhausted. Thankfully I have Monday and Tuesday off, and while it's to take care of my grandma after surgery, it's a break from getting up before 5am.
Pretty easy day here. Went to costco to stock up some dog food and took my dad along to hang out. Went and cleaned the backyard of puppy poop which was oh so exciting. Now just hanging out until I have to start dinner.
Hello! Had a good time at the GTG this morning! I'm at IL's right now for SIL's going away party (yay!).... She's friends with my exbf's bff....and he's here haha. I don't know if they're still friends, haven't said hi to him yet..
Hello! We had a picnic at Laurelhurst park with other Seattle children's craniofacial families. It was a great day for a picnic and Edmund had a blast playing with the other kids. We are now waiting to get on the ferry and it is hot down here. I'm ready for a nap.
I spent my morning cooking a months worth of meals for my freezer group - and then made turkey bratwurst for Lunch - yesterday I got a new pair of running shoes, I have to figure out if I like them or not. I went to roadrunner and had them film me on the treadmill and do the 3D imagine and the shoes for well but I was wavering between 2 styles and this pair, after a short 1.5 mile run made my foot cramp up a little bit. Not sure if it's just because it's a neutral shoe vs the stability shoes in used to (my running style has changed) so I'll probably go back out there today and try them out. I had a nice loss this week - hoping my body keeps responding to all this work!! I'm down 21.5 pounds in 2 months! Only 43 more to go...
