I'm making ST banana nut bread and it makes 2 loaves. I only have 1 pan. FWP. While the first pan is baking what should I do with the other batter? Leave it at room temp or pop it in the fridge? They bake for 50 minutes if that helps. TIA
I don't know what ST means, but regular batter should be fine left on the countertop while the other half is baking. Another idea is you could make muffins with the other half. That's what I do with my banana bread recipe; it makes one loaf + about six muffins.
I think room temp. I've read that you should bring all the ingredients (butter, eggs) to room temp before baking anyways. Unless obviously you are making pastry crust which requires cold butter.
