I find Kenneth Cole shoes run wider and more functional. I've also has success with occasional shoes from jeffery campbell. And rocket dog in their earlier days.
I have found both born and privo mentioned above run wide, if dowdy. (I bought a pair of born sandals this summer that looked okay in the store and were comfortable but every time I looked down I thought "gahhh! get off my feet!"). My husband can wear both clarks and born and his feet are eee.
Have you tried Tieks? I don't own them yet (on my wish list), but have read good things, and they look supportive with a good sole. I'm a fellow wide footer. Looking for cute, comfortable shoes sucks. I know they are expensive, but I've found I prefer having 1 good piece of clothing compared to multiple cheaper options. There is also a note I their FAQs about wide feet.

They're expensive as hell, but my Munro shoes are the most comfortable I've ever found. I wear an 11 XW (can never remember how many E's it is) and while I can wear some Payless wide flats, they're never as comfortable or well-fitting as my Munros.
Too bad my feet also widened with pregnancy and I need a new pair.
