Chocolate is not my favorite. I don't eat plain chocolate at all. It is better as ice cream, but still leaves a lot to be desired. I think the only appeal is that chocolate and vanilla often mix well with other things that taste good. I prefer mint, strawberry, or coffee flavor depending on my mood.
Peppermint ice cream is my favorite too!! There is a place near me that makes "dirty garden mint" ice cream. It is to die for. It's so minty and rich and amazing.
Two people I hate to put on the spreadsheet going on there at the same damn time. Sad.

This hurts me more than it hurts you.
But I like chocolate ice cream, too!
Also, I'm presently watching season 2 of the wire.
I love good quality strawberry ice cream, but I can never make good strawberry ice cream homemade. It always ends up icy. Any suggestions?
How do you do it? I think you have to heat everything up so the water content from the strawberries is equally distributed throughout the ice cream. I found this recipe from Lebovitz. I had his book at one point (I'm not sure where it is now...) and his recipes always turned out awesome
It was Breyers ice cream BTW. Is this not quality ice cream?
If so, I probably can't afford the kind of ice cream that could potentially convince me that strawberry ice cream is not worst flavor between choc, vanilla & strawberry
It's pretty good for grocery store ice cream. I haven't found a grocery store strawberry ice cream I really like.
The best strawberry ice cream is usually homemade.
