2. *knock on wood*...i am feeling SO much better. I can enjoy food again (especially fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil!). i have a bit of energy back too (even tho the heat kills me).
Still not out, out at work (my boss knows but i haven't told anyone else)...i just really don't feel like having all the pregnancy conversations with coworkers. i am pretty sure people can tell though.
3. I'm a research coordinator for child behavioral health clinic.
4. for the past couple months i am sure i have sucked as an employee - barely doing to bare minimum just to survive the day. same thing at home - it was really hard not to be able to play with my kids b/c i felt so shitty and was afraid to move and puke. luckily life is better now that i feel better and hopefully will continue for a while...just a little slower than normal..
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? We are getting close on having the nursery mostly ready and 2 showers coming up, and that was my basic goal, so we would have places to put stuff.
3. What do you do for a living? Attorney
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? The first trimester was probably most difficult because I was so tired, getting through the work days and being so tired and not ready to tell anyone at work. As far as regular life, it's more difficult to get around but I am still pretty much going on as I would without being pregnant, though exercising less and trying not to spend too much time outside (so hot out there!).
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? Good NT scan on Friday. We told the aunts/uncles over the weekend. Things are starting to feel real.
3. What do you do for a living? Writing.
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? Job: The mid first tri was terrible and I phoned it in, big time. My job is very deadline oriented and it was hard to make it many days. Things are better now that I'm almost in the second tri. Life: It's about the same. Running around after my extremely active toddler was particularly exhausting during the worst part of first-tri fatigue but things are looking up. Also, I miss beer. I am not even a big beer drinker and I have been craving an ice cold beer -- and shotgunning it.
2. I finally got some nesting energy yesterday and this morning. I hope it continues. I have my home visit with my MW this week.
3. I'm a doula and a Bradley instructor. I'm also a SAHM.
4. Job - I stopped taking doula clients after 30 weeks and I stopped teaching at 34. I'm taking 7 months off, mainly because my sister is getting married infebruary. Otherwise I would have started back in January, but I'll have to travel to NY a few times in January and February or her shower and stuff, so I figured I'll just wait until it's over. I think my clients actually kind of enjoyed having me pregnant right along with them.
1. 15+3 2. I have definitely been feeling some kicks the past few days. It's the best feeling ever. We also booked a cruise for next month. So excited. I'm calling it a babymoon. 3. manager at an international chemical engineering company 4. It hasn't affected work but add me to the group that is exhausted keeping up with a toddler.
2. This past week I finally feel like I have been on mistakable little belly. I go between trying to suck it and like normal and then realizing that it is pointless and just letting it hang out. I'm definitely at that awkward in between stage.
I'm here too. It is not fun for the middle of summer!
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? FUCK. Everything is a fucking mess. We moved this weekend but can't unpack anything because the contractors are still working in pretty much every room in the house. Was hoping to make some progress in baby's room, getting bag packed, etc. none of that happened.
3. What do you do for a living? I'm an epidemiologist. I do public health research For the military.
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? Not too much fortunately. Feeling grateful for my desk job today so I can rest after moving this weekend.

1. 14w3d
2. Just still on a high from last week's good chromosome screening results, plus finding out that it's a girl. Now that we have those results, we've come fully out of the pregnant closet, so everyone at work is pretty much finding out today. People keep looking at my belly.
3. I work for a nuclear waste repository, coming up with solutions to get radioactive waste safely disposed of.
4. Because I don't work directly with the waste, work hasn't been affected at all. I've been able to keep up with most of my normal life at home too. I'm just whinier about things when I don't feel good (not nauseous, just tired or achy), but I tend to do them anyway.
1. How far along are you? 14w5d 2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I'm getting the panorama blood test this Friday, it'll also be my first visit with the midwife. ETA: we had a family party on DH's side this weekend and one of the family friends came over to congratulate us then touched my belly. There's literally nothing to touch, it was weird. I really hope a stranger doesn't touch me at some point. 3. What do you do for a living? Technically I'm a chemist but now I write and review environmental documents for Army systems. 4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? It hasn't really. I've felt pretty good and I have a desk job so it hasn't been an issue.
1. How far along are you? 10+5 2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I think we finally have my meds to where it's keeping the HG under control! I still feel constantly sick and the littlest, weirdest things will throw me off, but overall I'm staying under control with everything. Unfortunately today's a harder day since DD is home sick and I'm with her. She's puking which isn't helping my gagging. One year olds throwing up is the worst. 3. What do you do for a living? I work for a magazine planning events we're contracted for. 4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? I'm so beyond thankful that I started a new job last year. This company has been so kind and understanding about my HG this time around and has worked with me as I try to work without overdoing it. In general life it hasn't affected us too much since it's crazy hot where we are so it's not like we were going a lot of places that now we can't go to.

1. How far along are you? 35+4 and officially 2 days away from the point i went into labor with my daughter 2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I'm GBS negative even though I was positive last time. I've had a ton of contractions this last week, and I lost some mucus plug. 3. What do you do for a living? Insurance company trainer 4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? I've been working from home since the end of June because my water broke with my daughter so I don't want to be in the office if/when it happens this time. I also can't travel anymore.
1. How far along are you? 14w 2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I just had my root canal and I am in so.much.pain. I feel like Tylenol is just sugar pills. Lol. I REALLY miss ibuprofen today.
3. What do you do for a living? Customer Service quality coach 4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? Well I'm already pretty disillusioned with my job, and I am planing on either going part-time in a different role or being a SAHM once the babe gets here, so its been really hard to stay motivated. Luckily I hace really awesome co-workers that make it worth it to keep coming in every day!
1. 37w2d 2. Still feeling pretty good. A bit more sore and slower to move around but that's expected. 3. I'm a consulting engineer in the field of electrical engineering. 4. Work is ramping down a little bit. Most of my projects are wrapped up and I am trying to power through the ones that will be difficult to hand over. It's going to be a big change since I plan on being off for a year of maternity leave, so that is a big change for the office.
2. I've started to feel movement, but think I'm only feeling Baby B. I think maaaaybe I felt baby A once. Heartburn has started and I'm just tired lately.
3. I've been a SAHM for a little over a year with DS.
4. I've slowed down a lot. DS and I are being lazier, watching more TV, doing less activities. It's just too hot and I can't muster the energy for a whole lot.
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I have an aversion to donuts. Took one bit of these super fancy donuts that I would normally be all over and promptly threw it up. Not okay, baby. Not okay.
3. What do you do for a living? Chemist
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? lol for days about my job. I wasn't allowed to work at all last week. This week I'm doing an air monitoring to measure level of exposure to pretty much anything. Yay?
Sounds like you're pregnant with a little hippie baby like me. All I wanted to eat first tri was fish and big crunchy salads.
There may be some hope if it was cream filled. Maybe you're aversion is just to creamy stuff?

1. 35 weeks
2. The baby dropped and I think I've been having real contractions the past couple days? My 1st labor was induced and my second was a scheduled c/section. I'm not sure what natural contractions feel like. They are uncomfortable and some are downright painful, but they're not following a regular pattern yet. I haven't lost my mucus plug either, so I guess I'm fine? Neither one of my kids was early, but I should probably get a bag packed soon, just in case.
3. I'm a government contractor. I write policies and procedures and do internal audits. Hopefully, my title will be SAHM within the next year or two.
4. No effect on my job. My toddler is clingy (and I love the snuggles), but picking him up is becoming difficult now.
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I have an aversion to donuts. Took one bit of these super fancy donuts that I would normally be all over and promptly threw it up. Not okay, baby. Not okay.

Normally, I can down sweets like nobody's business, but I have an aversion to them while I'm pregnant too. So strange how that works, right? I'd be better off if my tastbuds stayed that way post-partum, but it doesn't last
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? FUCK. Everything is a fucking mess. We moved this weekend but can't unpack anything because the contractors are still working in pretty much every room in the house. Was hoping to make some progress in baby's room, getting bag packed, etc. none of that happened.
But you're a smart lady having contractors do the work for you. I hope they finish up soon so you have time to get settled in.
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? Mostly just feeling tired. We have a lot going on in August, and a lot of it is related to getting ready for the babies (classes, car seat checks, finishing the nursery, packing hospital bags, etc). I think I'll feel a lot more ready in a few weeks.
Also, just as I was getting into the mindset that a vaginal birth for twins might be okay, my Baby A flipped into a breech position (baby B is currently transverse). I'm still completely fine with a c-section, but we'll see what happens.
3. What do you do for a living? I work in the children's museum industry
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? I feel very fortunate that I wfh full time (Up until December, I had a job where my commute was 1.5 hours each way). I'm not sure I would still be working full time at this point if I had to commute.
As for life, I'm not playing tennis anymore, nor am I doing much in the way of working out (I have a lot of pelvic pain). I also feel like I've been really lazy about cooking. I love to entertain, but done much of that lately either. I'm just too exhausted. My friends completely understand though.
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I have an aversion to donuts. Took one bit of these super fancy donuts that I would normally be all over and promptly threw it up. Not okay, baby. Not okay.

I would love fish and salads! Or rather, I wish I loved them right now. So far my baby seems to be Italian. I had a Parmesan risotto that nearly made me cry, it was so good. Last night we had sausage and pasta with red sauce, which we almost never make, but I NEEDED it last night.

1. How far along are you? 9 weeks 3 days
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? Nausea is kicking my ass
3. What do you do for a living? Occupational therapist and therapy manager
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? I don't transfer as many patients as I used to at work. Not so much as I am worried I might pull something, but more of an I don't want to star in myself and puke on them. Nauseous ALL THE TIME! I think it is more from my progesterone than anything though.

1. 15w3d 2. I felt SOOOO good Friday! It was a real letdown when that didn't last. Hopefully I keep having more good days and the nausea finally tapers off soon! 3. Technical writer 4. It hasn't really affected my job. Life? Well, I'm trying to avoid making firm plans for anything because I never know how I will feel that day/at that time. I haven't done much housework since egg retrieval (poor DH has been amazing!). Basically, I've slowed waaay down; these babies are sucking up all of my energy!
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
2. I'm physically DONE. But mentally I've got a ton of stuff to address the next 2 weeks between work, social commitments, and house matters like new furniture and closet installs (FWP, I know). Oh, I'm also starting to give up on working out, I just don't have it in me anymore.
3. lawyer - I practice in estate planning, trust administration, probate, tax planning
4. Being PG causes me to be a lot shorter with my son, who is 3.5. That's kind of sad. And it's hard to find work/life balance with a child in the picture already when what I really want and need is some legitimate rest.
Right? *hugs* It is really hard. He's at an age where he's really testing me, combined with being PG I feel so guilty for how I treat him sometimes.
Yep, mine is 2.5 and has taken up throwing major tantrums when she doesn't get her way and swatting at me. I told my husband yesterday that I can't wait to have this baby because she's climbing all over me and hurting me and I get pissy even though I know she's Just wanting to cuddle and these are the last weeks she'll be an only child. I need to have more patience. But I don't have the energy. :/
2. Pregnancy vents / randoms / AWs? I have had a cough for almost two weeks. It's not progressed into a cold which I'm not thrilled about. Called in sick yesterday. Attended my last baby shower on Sunday. I love my SILs. Went to our 2nd birthing class this week. It was pretty good.
3. What do you do for a living? Payroll/ Accounting
4. How has your pregnancy affected your job/life? I miss bloody marys and sushi.
2. The baby dropped and I think I've been having real contractions the past couple days? My 1st labor was induced and my second was a scheduled c/section. Pack your bag, for sure! Maybe you're in early labor? My sister had sporadic contractions for two weeks with my first nephew.
