This is the dress I'm working on today. The picture doesn't do it justice--the beads make it look exactly the same way freshly fallen snow looks in the moonlight. When I saw it on her, I got this crazy wave of homesickness when I saw it on her. I am so captivated.
I am 1.5 weeks into eating better and working out. I'm down 3 pounds!! Only 76 pounds to go! Last night my husband signed up for a gym membership (Planet Fitness) and I can go with him for free as often as I want. Yay!!
I have never had allergies until we moved here. Since the weekend, I am so freaking plugged up, both of my eyes are watering and red. My voice comes and goes, my throat is all gunky. All I want to do is sleep. My right eye has finally stopped looking like a bloody mess for now... I had the most attractive pink eye the whole time we were out of town. Ugh, I'm a mess.
One more super random: I bought these shoes at DSW on super clearance for like $15. I've worn them maybe three times and today both soles started detaching from the wedges and they were smacking like flip flops. I got worried they'd break and I'd fall and break an ankle, so I pulled them apart and now I have new wedges, lol.
She was working on getting our last-minute trip to Italy booked, something that she wanted to do. She forwarded me a message from the travel agent with a question, but included the whole email chain. In that email chain my mom calls H and I fat, inactive and requiring a king bed (um, we just got a king bed in April after 7 years together).

Ugh! I love living in AZ but today is ridiculous. Excessive heat warnings, the high should be 112*, and the tar they used to patch the parking lot at work is melting so much my heel got stuck in it and I wasn't sure I'd get it out.
In better news, my surgeon fit me in today for another post op follow up because I was in so much pain over the weekend. He pulled clots and crap as big a my pinkie out of my nose and then gave it a good vacuuming out. I feel do much better, like a new person! Ah sweet relief.
I don't understand the crucifixion of people on the Internet. Brought to you by the ML drama.
From my (skewed) perspective, it's perfectly acceptable for regulars to bully others they don't like, but when a troll does it then it's not acceptable. There's such a double standard, it's obnoxious.
Holy hell konapoppy . I would email back to both of them telling them that the trip has been cancelled and that you and your H will not be attending.
That's basically what I did, but haven't brought up the real issue yet (said that it was stressing us out too much - which it was for other reasons). My mom must know she screwed up because my dad sent the next email about our options going forward. Still have to address the weight thing with her (and not for the first time). Sigh.

I am not surprised you feel better, but that is... something.

Today did seem hotter than normal. My car said it was 96* on my way to work and my air was cranked and I still felt super hot...although maybe it's menopause. You can have hot flashes at 30, right?!?

You're not having hot flashes. Don't worry. It won't last that much longer.
When the heck are we getting together for dinner/drinks/hiking?

Yes! Maybe in a few weeks when I'm not so swamped at work? Please don't let me forget!!
