I ordered a shirt for M to wear at my parents this weekend. The estimated delivery was between today (Tuesday) and Friday. Cutting it close but still acceptable.
I just looked up the tracking and they've updated the delivery to Saturday and the route makes no sense. It was shipped from Maryland to a city in IL 10 minutes away from me within 24 hours. Then they transferred it to downtown Chicago, and now the package has moved north to a city hours away in Wisconsin. Wtf? Does this make sense to anyone else? Why would they keep shipping it further away? I'm pretty frustrated.
That is so annoying. It could be an error they made, and the package could very well arrive much sooner.
What shipping method is it? Sometimes UPS hands their mail off to USPS, which makes it take longer (UPS Surepost, or for FedEx, Smartpost). One time a package I ordered took 2 weeks to get to Michigan from Wisconsin because it was shipped by UPS Mail Innovations - no clue what that is. It sat in a sorting facility for days.

It's FedEx but I think regular not smartpost. Not positive though. Either way if it's late I'll be asking for a refund.
